Title: Another crisis at Virginia Tech

Basically, they just started the new semester and there was a carbon monoxide leak at one of the off-campus apartments. 5 students had to be hospitalized, two of them are in critical. It's still hasn't been long since the shooting, either...

wow, that school has a lot of problems, not only that, but one of my favorite Quarterbacks for there team got kicked off for selling drugs or something like that, yeah, those Vick boys are trouble makers, but yeah, that school is one school I don't wanna go to, to much trouble there...

It's not really the school's fault, and you have drug problems at all the schools. See, the leak wasn't even on campus. It wasn't Vtech's fault.

Aye, something's always going wrong there.  Then again, they were kind of off to a bad start.  Did you know that a Hokie is a castrated turkey?  That's pretty sad...

I spose thats something to do with unluckyness, I wonder whats next, a huge fire to burn it all down? Just thinkin out loud, seen how other things as happened there, why not a fire being next?

You do know that if it is a fire, we're all going to blame you, right?

I don't think Virginia Tech is any worse than anywhere else, the leak had nothing to do with them and the shooting could have happened anywhere. I think those are the only two bad things to happen there anyways. Besides being named after castrated turkeys.

ICE BURN!!! (I wish I had that pic...)
Besides, it's still a good school, just so happened that one of they're students was crazy.

Evil things can happen at a community college as well.  Even if they had the best security and got everything inspected twice, something can still happen.

Depends on the person, I guess. I mean, it isn't exactly peaceful, unless it's an accident...

Come to think of it, to qualify as violent, wouldn't you need to be alive?  I mean, I know CO causes a violent reaction in a human body, but it's not like it's able to go, "Hmm, I think I'll enter this weak human body and tear it apart."  Or whatever it is that carbon monoxide does when it's in a human body.

I think the result is like suffocation... I might be wrong, but... :-\

I'm pretty sure it's suffocation myself, but I have this nagging feeling that it suffocates people differently than, say, water would.  And I don't really feel like going to Wikipedia to find out.

I hate CO, I get scared when the beepy thing goes off, so I run out of the house... I let my parents deal with it all... I stay out of the house untill its fixed. I once almost fainted from it...

It makes it so they don't get enough oxygen basically. It wasn't violent, it was an accidental leak because of a bad water heater or something like that.

Probably Violent to the people though... ::)

And a scare. Both can be equally damaging.

Fright, these days, seems to be the new opiate of the masses.

A good scare is unanimous with a good laugh, these days.

Didnt Virginia Tech also schedule a violent rap artist to perform at the start of the school year? I think the rapper was Nas.... I dunno, either way I heard he sings about murder. And he's performing a VT. Classy.... >:(
