Hey, I know magmarfire and TB use it, and I could use some help, like TB, how the heck do you make all that stuff so cool? I need some help here, when I used to do it, nothing came out like that, and I can't figure it out, yea, could one of you please help me? or anyone else who knows how to work it, but yea, Idk where to put this...
I'm not exactly sure how you can add professionally-done gradients that Tacheon uses. However, I'm sure you noticed the picture in my sig, right? The three main tools I used were the polygon cutter (or whatever you call it; a lasso of line segments instead of arcs), the magic wand, and the rubber stamp. The second and third tools in particular are my BEST FRIENDS FOREVER when manipulating a picture. Seriously. They're very useful tools, and yet extremely easy to use. Good combination there. ;)

That is an insult to my talents... I use GIMP, and it's wayyyy better. Like, so unbelievably better, because it actually takes skill.
Oh, and call me Tacheon. TB reminds me too much of Tuberculosis.

You can download brushes, too... I don't know how to work things exactly. Sorry.
I use an old version of Paintshop Pro I found, which is really similar to Photoshop I think.
Anyway, I am continually downloading new textures and brushes from LiveJounal, it's really useful to get them. Or get nice fonts from dafont.com
I have Photoshop 7.0 free from frostwire.
PS CS2/CS3 is way better. Now, if you were looking for drawing in PS tutorials...
I just downloaded PS CS2, and I have to say, I'm moderately impressed... ^_^
