Title: This is Halloween
Post by: Fishalicious on October 28, 2007, 03:14:02 PM
Erm, given I'm going to not be able to visit the forums on Halloween, I figured I'd make the topic that is sure to come up now. Hope you guys don't mind.

So, how is everyone else celebrating Halloween? I'm going to go trick-or-treating, or course. As a Wizzrobe.

And... well, I also got a little overboard with pumpkin decorating:

I have like... twelve more. -laughs- Only that one I decorated, though.

I'll report back here after Halloween.

We've been gutting pumpkins here, actually. It's fun, but it's messy work. I think we'll be doing the actual carving on Halloween day, though. We'll also be making cookies later. I love sugar cookies...

I do not celebrate Halloween. It conflicts with my religious beliefs.

...

Seriously? Eh, I don't know. Maybe I'll TP some houses, preferably of the crusty old principal who nobody likes and come out of the whole ordeal beloved and scott-free? Save the town from some ancient evil in a humorous, Ernest-like manner that's fun for the whole family? Almost get murdered by a sociopathic superhuman wearing some form of facial covering? I'll play it by ear, I suppose.

Well, my plan to scare young children has been foiled by the fact that I had my surgery over the weekend, so I'll probably just hand out candy...

You could hand them scary candy.  That's almost the same, right?

I'm going to wish I'm somewhere else on Halloween.  I don't want to deal with little brats coming to my house and begging for candy.  Hopefully, I'll be busy cooking dinner so my dad will have to hand out the candy.

Hey guys! I'm back for Halloween. :3 And thanks for the comments for my pumpkin-- I entered it into the school's pumpkin decorating contest, but I didn't place. Our "Jack Skellington: The Pumpkin King" pumpkin for the Graphic Arts Committee (which I'm in; I made the hat) won first place in the clubs category, though!

Well, tonight, we're going trick or treating. We already went downtown and got candy from some random people (a police officer threw candy at me) and I pet people's dogs and got pictures with their kids.

Apparently, we couldn't dress up for Halloween, but some people did anyways, and now I'm upset; I could've gone to school as a Wizzrobe! Well, I sort of did; yesterday was trunk or treat, where band students open the trunk of their cars, fill it with candy, and give kids (and wizzrobes) candy. I went and said hi to all my band friends, though half of them didn't know who I was. XD

(I got called a jerk while buying candy for Trunk or Treat in Wal-Mart. "Hey, jerk, Halloween's not 'til tommorow!")

OH and I'm going to go Halloweening with a Link, too, as I found out. :D

I'm going trick or treating as Hinamori Momo from Bleach with my friend who's going as Fierce Deity Link. He has the cool sword and everything. Remember kids, you're never too old to freeload off old rich people. Or maybe I'll sit with my other friend in the bushes in front of his house and paintball the kids that take two pieces of candy from the ball instead of one like they're supposed to?

I would go trick or treating, but yea, I didn't really feel like it tonight, just wanted to stay home and hang out...

You can call things cute and still be a man.  After all, it takes a real man to show his sensitive side.

I didn't really do any trick or treatng, I just walked up and down the street in my Clone Trooper costume and alerted my sister of incoming TTs. She had candy duty.

I handed out candy to like 15 people, so we still have about a whole bowl and a couple packages of fun size candies. We have a lot of candy to eat, and it will still probably have some by Christmas.

Good thing candy lasts that long, eh?  It would absolutely suck to eat moldy chocolate.  Unless you like moldy chocolate.  But if you don't, send it to me.  I love moldy chocolate.[/lying]

A guy in a tie?

And with that half-baked guess, I'll let you all know that I dressed up as a guy who was too lazy to get dressed up for Halloween.

;) last night was pretty... erm... interesting. The first house me and my friend went to, the little boy opened the door a crack then slammed it shut after seeing my friend's Deity Link costume. Not like it was scary (someone asked if he was a jester. He was just like, "*sigh* Yea, okay. That's better than what the other lady down the street thought") but his huge styrofoam helix sword needed like a 6 foot clearance. He kept catching it on the fake spiderwebs and stuff, and at this one rich house he got it caught on a huge hanging bat. I rang the doorbell already and when they opened the door they saw him wrestling that toy bat to get his sword down and just went,  :o

They didn't offer to help him get his sword free?

Well i went to some parties and my costume was Austin Powers which made this Halloween even more fun than usual.  Usually I just dress up in a scary or funny, Austin Powers costume!, and party all night and scare children just for fun.

I had a pretty nice Haloween. I was Hermione Granger. (Next year, I am going to be Axel. Or I will be very angry.) I saw a guy dressed up as Link, and I was like, "You saw Link! This has been added to your journal!" Also, every time I got candy, I said, "Some candy has been added to your candy carrier! Press A on the Collection Screen to view it." Of course, that night I got a nasty virus that made me throw up, and we couldn't get a pumpkin, because my baby sister was in the Hospital with an I. V. (I got the virus from her.)

I went to a friends house and we watched the first half of the Exorcism of Emily Rose but my friend got scared.
So we watched Scary Movie 2 and American Pie instead.
Then we went shopping the next day! :3

My friend dressed as L from DeathNote, I haven't seen pictures of him in the costume yet though.

Aw, someone went as Kishin Link? That's awesome, especially the six foot allowance. XD No one decorated that much, so no spiderwebs got caught on my beak, but... ugh, I know how hard having an allowance is on props. That and when my cellphone rang and I had to lift up my robes (successfully flashing my pinstripe boxers to my Link) AND try to talk garbled through my mask. XD She always called as I was trick or treating, so I had to go to a house with a cel in one hand and a candy bag in the other...

It was fun, my Link and I switched costumes, and since I'm six foot and she's... five two, it was hilarious. My mask was HUGE on her. XD And I looked like a retard.

two (http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r153/faceless_nothing/wizzrobe2.jpg)

We have pictures of all five of us (Joe: Blue striped cat, Stephanie: Purple zigzag striped cat, Stefan: Zombie riding an ostrich, Kendra: Link (ala Ocarina of Time) and I, the Wizzrobe.) but I don't have access to them as of now. D:

I watched several horror movie marathons for Halloween. I even skipped school that day. Not exciting at all, but at least I didn't go to school.
