One time I had a dream that my cat (yes, as small, 8 lb. cat) tackled me to the ground and tore my leg off. It was really graphic.
I have a lot of dreams where I am floating in some way, shape, or form. Like I would be walking through a store looking at stuff, and each time I took a step I would slowly float ten feet in the air. Sometimes I will even be in a field and will be able to float up to tree top levels at my own free will. Funny, because I am terrified of heights.

Last night i had a dream about an old house that i lived in and i dreamt that it got flooded and we came back like a month later to collect all of our stuff and a snake slithered out of my mattress and my dad started to yell at me to grow up. He kept on about how the books that i read show an imaturaty and that they were keeping me from growing up.

I once had a dream that I was in a midevil time, and i had to fight a giant ogre, but i didnt have a wheapon, so i ran like hell, and found a time portal, where i appeared on the top of a futureistic 1000 story building, and ran right off the edge. I fell for like an hour, and I fell off my bed, and hit the floor the very second i hit the ground in my dream! so my mom says that can actually kill someone out of shock!!

I once had a dream where The Beatles song "Abbey road" was playing continually on a loop while a piece of cheese with oddly flashing colours zoomed in and out of my vision. I couldn't move for what seemed like hours. That was the most boring dream I ever had.

That is a very disturbing comment... :-\ Though many disturbing things do happen in dreams. I hate my mind. I always remember the horrid dreams but the really good ones I never remember. I just wake up with a great grin on my face feeling great for no apparent reason.

I keep having these really bad dreams where I have some sort of disease that causes me to clench my teeth together. I will be dreaming of typical stuff and all of a sudden I will clench my teeth together with enough force to break them like chalk. All that dental work down the drain.
I never have cool dreams. My dreams always consist of me doing absolutely normal things. Like, going out and buying a video game. Or eating lunch. Or coming on these very forums. I've even had dreams where I sign on to HA2 and just kinda look for new topics and post in a few topics here and there...
I absolutely HATE this. I never have cool dreams. Always normal. ALWAYS. Never any flying dreams, or dreams about the Legend of Zelda, or dreams about anything weird. No. Dreams about things like doing the groceries. The GROCERIES.

Poor cat... I once had a dream where I found an odd little yellow button on the side of my computer. I pressed it and then found out that it was the button that corrupts half the data on your computer. Then there was that one where I noticed a huge pile of dog turd in a shop and was yelling out that it smelled but no one would listen...

In my opinion dreams form from the subconscious and conscious thoughts one has while experiencing everyday stimuli. these thoughts coalesce and mix to certain degrees producing the effect of a dream. Or you could say dreams are what you think, want, or have seen happen throughout your life.

Of course this is only my opinion and it is based entirely on my own experiences and my thought process. So in all actuality I could be lying straight to your face without even realizing it. But dreams are only what you make them out to be. Noone can be exposed to all the things you have nor can anyone have the exact same dream as you. And even if they did how would you even be aware of such a rare occurance?

i had a dream where i drove one of my friends little barbie jeeps, and i drove it off the side walk into some bushes, then water came and filled up the drive way, then i swam to the sidewalk and something said something bout a toy, (it was in zelda print) then i got scared and swam faster and then like i think something happened with an evil toy that wanted to kill me.

I had about two dreams last night.
One was when I was a member of a secret organization, and I had to hunt down monsters for something. I liked that dream. ;D

oooh I had a weird dream:
I was with a bunch of my mates in our school language block. It was night and there were no lights on.
In a corridor there was a line of cyborgs who looked exactly like humans.
My friend Ciaran turned them on (I think he did it on purpose...) and they all woke up. We all ran into different classrooms, and as I ran into one I was shot with a gun. Once in my leg once in my stomach, it really hurt. Then I sort of restarted back in the corridor and someone grabbed me bound me with robes on my legs and arms to a desk and lit a flaming torch(like those old ones which is just a biece of wood with an oily rag). It was a cyborg that looked exactly like Rachel Bilson who plays Summer in The OC. She got the torch and I was screaming and she started burning my leg with it.
Then I woke up. I hated that dream.
My most recent dream is of my brother being kidnapped and taken away, and i would never see him again. I hate that dream.

And now for something of my own mind.
I remember way way too many of my dreams. It is an honest truth, I honestly remember them. But the contents of many of them seem to swirl around until I am confused as to which dream is which.
One dream, That I was a character in a type of military bunker, I had to disable something in it to prevent nuclear weapons from going off the entire planet. I failed, but I saw the whole planet burn. After there was nothing left, little plants began to grow, then time started to go faster, until it was practically in a cycle, to the time where Native americans lived amongst the woods. Weird, I know.
Another common dream, I try to kill or otherwise harm someone, then people, many many people come after me, I try to run away, or slow down time. Time seems to slow down, but I have this great fear that they will keep chasing me, and I have to run. There are a great deal of variations to this dream, many of which I can remember. At times, I'll try to fly, I'll realize it is a dream, and think that I can defy gravity. But I am able to do so for only a few seconds, I jump, but I can never really fly.
And sometimes I will dream of something, then there is a point, a sequence in which I fall. Once I hit the pavement, I feel something in my chest, like a bounce. Then I awake. But sometimes this leads into another dream, or a 'dream within a dream'. I'll realize it is this way and weird things will happen that I can recall with much detail, but cannot rationally describe.
I've had dreams where I was aware I was dreaming, and other dreams in which I woke up from one dream, only to be still in the dreaming world. Things will happen that really get weird in this one, like weird lights and visions of stuff falling from the sky.
Unlike the majority of you, I have this awareness. I do not know how I am aware, I only know that I am aware, and this faciliates the true vastness in the strange capabilities of my dreams.

the other night i had a dream that i was at my school at night time with one of my friends and some people in a black suv kept driving by and then leaving. and then some bloody guy in a mask came by with a chainsaw and i outran my friend. it was funny and yet scary at the same time...
My friend had 3 of us round once and we hung out at the park, it was like 7pm and it was quite dark. My friend told us about this dream were a man with a chainsaw came and killed all of us except her and she had to tell my parents I was dead. In the dream it was exactly the same place and time that we were in then. So we got freaked out and sprinted back to her house screaming through the village street...
back when i liked pokemon, i had a dream i owned a pikachu and a charmander. ;)
It's weird, but dreams really do seem to have some sense in the future. I get this weird feeling of deja vu a lot, it's like I was really somewhere, and yet wasn't. It freaks me out sometimes, and this deja vu will go into a cycle, and I'll have to do something completely different to break it.

I just had a really, really weird series of dreams last night, it was like in part of them I was on some really weird drugs. Like LSD and some other really strange stufff. I could see my friends in weird and different ways, like they had some really weird colors.
The whole thing about it, First I was staying up for a reallylong time, then when I actually went to sleep, it was like several things were bending into new shapes... It almost made me cry with the utter strange of what was happening.
In a great deal of the dream, I was in my math teacher's class, but it was more like a dark drug den than anything else. Everyone seemed to be on some kind of hallucinogen. And it would freak me out exactly how much they were seeing... like your seeing everything turn dark, and your friends seem to glow and move with neon colors. It was like I was really tripping, and at the beginning of the dream, where I had to sleep for an entire day, it seemed that I was really really doped up on too much cold medicine. And when I fell asleep in there, a whole new series of dreams would begin. This one in which I was practically unable to move, my leg being broke. The setting of the time seemed to be of a future that was corrupted. Everyone was poor, no one had freedoms, and those that worked, could only work at wal-mart. Some people from the star trek series inadvertably come to this time period in order to correct it. It was a movie that I had seen, yet not seen.
Another part of the weird dream, I'm in a mall, looking for a place with some cheap music. I go through the stores, and find only one CD of note, but it is an excerpt of an entire 3 disc set, so it's not very good. So I try to steal it, but in a way, like downloading it... And I speak with someone in charge about it, makes me feel as if I had stolen it. Then something weird begins, A lady comes to me asking help of me, I follow her, and she tells me that she is trying to go against something... I follow her into a bathroom and ask her her plans. She tells me she wants me to stay guard, and then she turns on a sort of weapon, it's actually just the sprinkler system, but I have to stay above the stalls, getting soaked... REALLY FREAKING WEIRD!!!!!!
The entire dream seemed like one really big series of LSD trips. There was a certain dark part to the dreams... in which I see my friends. It's like I'm in a gothic world, and everything takes after violence. I find myself outside of my house, and i start to see really colorful fireworks. I saw a whole bunch of colors that were really like you were on a very strange trip...
I SO wanna do that again, it was very very fun man, I just hope that I can fully describe the dreams and remember them in full to tell them to others... FREAKY!
Has anybody ever controlled their dreams? I have done it like twice, it is pretty neat, its called lucid dreaming....it isntjust making yourself wake up or continuing it in your mind, it is actually controling your dream.

Heh, I've known for a long time what lucid dreaming is. I am aware of my presence. But the ability to control seems to fluctuate with awareness. I cannot seem to fly, for example. But I am aware at certain points of the dream that I am really dreaming, and I'll go off to explore. I think I had a dream where I cursed in my own, made-up language. Kind of weird, really.
I dreamt I was sprinting down my road towards the sea, then I just dived forwards and I could fly. It took loads of effort though, which is weird.
I love having dreans where I can do stuff I cant do in real life, like flying and breathing underwater...but I dont like telling people about most of mydreams.
I had a totally weird dream last night. The only people I knew in it were two boys from my class and they only featured in the beginning. I wasn't even in it. The "main character" was a bit like me but not really but I will say me to make it easier..
It was long so I wont explain all of it. Basically me and my mum (not MY mum) were on a luxury cruise liner which was a ttacked by terrorists (They were white but I can't remember anything else about them). Loads of people were shot and my elevator smashed on the floor. There was loiads of explosions and I saw a few dead people.
