So, out of curiousity, what all do your rooms look like? I don't have any pictures of mine YET... I'll be able to upload some after we get off for Thanksgiving (ugh, Wednesday).
It's a total trash heap right now, though... I'm working on furring a mask, so there's pieces of green and brown and white fur everywhere and bits of foam and plastic mesh and sketches and pins and needles and thread... walking into my room is like being tarred and feathered.
I have... two or three tables, one fused to my bed, holds an ANCIENT computer (and about three months worth of art projects, half of which are being put on display), one has Labyrinth and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory DVDs, some excess fur and felt, my alarm clock... the last one has my sewing machine, my Wolf Link head, mannequin head, and other... sewing... things.
Two bookcases, filled with books, Gamecubes, N64s, and on top is my Wizzrobe cosplay (Woe has a sucker in his beak because I'm saving it) and windfish painting... as well as for sale art that takes up too much room. TV, dresser... DVD player, Wii, light tracer, another bookcase with Manga and small plushies, a large white tiger plushie, radio... storage thing I use as another desk, and there's a beanbag chair and huge bag of Halloween candy on the floor.
Well, and books on Colour Theory, Home Decor, and The Language of Flowers and Loveless 7.... they're just there.
FLCL poster, Gravitation poster, Rock Band poster, Four Swords and Twilight Princess posters, and a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon poster. And my big cuddly Meowth pillow, taxidermy leftovers (fur mostly, some teeth and stuff; full out alligator head, though).
I'm sure I forgot some things in my room, but... augh, I need pictures. x__x; I'm sorry this is so rushed, I'm leaving like now and I can't check for spelling errors (I should just download Euro-firefox, colour is not misspelled!) or grammatical errors, just tell me if I misspelled something... unless you're a mod, do it yourself, I'm lazy. (not really, I'm actually quite busy)
You're not the only one with a messy room, Fisk. Then again, my room is like half a mess. From the door to my bed is clear, but on the other half of the room lies my shoes, my slippers, a power strip, my laptop bag, a clipboard, a book on how to build believable characters, a dry erase board with marker and eraser, a microphone, a set of dice and then some, container for said dice, random sheet of folded up graph paper, two GBA/SP chargers, cell phone charger, graphing calculator, a tennis ball, a orange bouncy ball, cell phone, my GBA SP, my DS, a pair of pants, a pair of shorts, probably a belt, headphones that only work on the left side, a notebook, and various other papers.
Walls are kind of bare. Got a couple of my brother's posters up. Coat rack. A couple of what I guess are key racks. My calendar. I might spend some time tomorrow to get my Wind Waker poster back up. Perhaps some other things as well.
Hmmm, dresser. I suppose I could waste some time and bore you all with what's on my dresser. Let's see, DS case filled with three or four DS games and two Zelda GBA games, a pile of Game Informer magazines (and under those are a few player's guides), a box filled with GBA games and instruction booklets, more papers, a mouse pad, a mouse that no longer works, various office supplies, a pair of gloves, and a stack of CDs (mostly video game themes, but some movie themes and international music as well), a day-by-day calendar with a "people can be stupid" theme to it, books (two of them I have yet to read), and my alarm clock.
Edit: Oh noes! I forgot to tell you that I have a mechanical pencil and one of those clicky eraser pens on my floor! D:

Thats mah crib. My room is red and black, and its quite cozy!
(and messier than I drew it)
Anyone who owns more than one console and more than one controller knows that somehow, no matter how much they're separated, the cords ALWAYS get tangled.
Tell me about it! Why do they have to get so tangled all the time!? I swear, there are these little elves that spend all their time tangling up whatever cords they see! :P
Anyway, my room isn't all that special, really. Anything that would be particularly interesting would be my dresser, which dons a stereo with my Mozart and Zelda CDs in it, a CD case that I haven't opened yet, at least three or four books, about two magazines, my rechargeable flashlight, and other things I don't feel like mentioning.
Next to that would be mainly a small collection of wooden swords, a wooden shield, an emergency flashlight/toolkit combo, and my old GameCube box (yes, I've been keeping it ever since I got it :P ).
You want to know how to keep cords from getting tangled? First of all, unplug them all and untangle them, then plug each thing in, one at a time. After you have one thing plugged in, take up the slack in the cables and tie it up with a rubber band or a twist tie. Trust me, it's saved me a heck of a lot of trouble.
Anyways, I can take some pictures of my room. I'll post them here, because it would be easier than trying to describe it all. But for now, here's a crudely drawn representation. You can basically see how it's arranged. My Room. Sort of. (http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/1806/myroomsortofhu3.png)
I sleep on a surprisingly comfy futon in my room. About 60% of the room is uncharted garbage stacks. On my walls, I have a Slash poster from the Guitar Hero 3 launch. On my bookcase, I have my incredibly old Goosebumps books from Elementary School. My TV's on a dresser in my closet, and attached to it is my aging PS2(The PS3's downstairs on the widescreen).

I drew a quick diagram of my room, pretty much to scale. It's only 10 x 11 feet, and the closet juts into the middle of my room. Not to mention the roof slants down to an inch above my face when I sleep. Therefore, it's tiny... I can't wait until I move out and get my own house, I'd have enough room for everything... x_x
But, yes.... that diagram's from a perfect world, where there is no mess.
Well, my room is rather bright and colorful and girly, unlike my personality. I wish my room was more boyish. I have a few Zelda posters and some pictures of Vaati and stuff. In these pictures, you can see A picture I drew of Minish Vaati, a collage of Vaati's form, and me when I was a baby in the local newspaper.

I have a bookshelf, but I never really read. I just look at picture books if I'm bored. But I really like the purple lava lamp (you don't see any lava because it was just warming up). My sister took the one picture of me because we were in my room, thinking up ideas for stories. This is our pencil and paper. So, yeah... http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u161/Miss_Hayls/2007_0415Image0003.jpg
My room isn't messy per se, just cluttered.
I have a bed, a desk (never use it), TV on a dresser with my body spray, perfume etc., Wardrobe, two bookcases all full, another dresser this time with hair stuff and make up. At the end of my bed is like a shelf thing where I keep manga and two sketchbooks and basic drawing stuff, in a bag on the floor are about five full sketchbooks.
i'll see if I can take some pictures later.
Oh, and I also have a banner saying "welcome home alice" that I kept from when I came back from skiing in Austria, I liked it so much I wouldn't take it down.
And a few lanterns and pictures. And a tin of chocolates and jelly beans...

Wii, ps2, 360, gamecube, that's a lot of tangled cords for me
My room has my bed, a tv, all the aforementioned consoles, a dresser, and a lot of random stuff that make it a huge mess
I have a huge cable mess, but I just shove it all down the back of my chest of drawers. It's because my hair straightners, TV, DVD, Wii and Freeview box all go to the same plug. I say plug but actually they all go to the same plug add-on thing (you know it gives you more sockets), which goes to the extension lead which goes to another plug-add-on which goes to the actual socket in the wall. Ijust know it's all gonna explode one day.
wow :-*
Your guys's diagrams put my own to shame...
But mine is pretty much perfectly to scale. Thats about the only thing I got going for me.
I don't have a room.
....
....
Guess I'm gonna be the only one to make a not long post about what my room looks like then.
Umm...It's got six walls...there's a couch...big TV...and a huge window on one side. Yeah.
How can you not have a room?!?! :o
If you're honestly having a lot of trouble with tangled cables, take my advice and try out what I do. Trust me, I've got a bunch of stuff hooked up to my TV, and I've never had a problem.
By the way, MagmarFire, I forgot to mention it, but I kept my GameCube box, too. Great minds think alike, I suppose.
Anyways, here are some pictures of my room.
My room, from the doorway. (http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/2497/1002479xw8.jpg)
Here's a shot from a bit further in. You can see my TV, along with my VCR/DVD Player and my game systems. (http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/2299/1002492kn0.jpg)
The window area. No, I can't ride the unicycle... (http://img77.imageshack.us/img77/9036/1002496ue8.jpg)
The wall next to my futon. (http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/5952/1002497kh8.jpg)
The closet area. (http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/1820/1002506od7.jpg)
The last small part that wasn't captured in any of the other pictures. My light switch is hidden behind the calendar. (http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/5405/1002508lu2.jpg)
So now you know what my room looks like.
My room has some manga and a radio/cd player on the lower shelf and all my big novels like Harry Potter and Eragon are on the upper one. It's also kind of a mess right now... I also have 4 Twilight Princess posters, a DS poster that I need to take down, a Naruto scroll above my bed, and one of Bride of the Watergod.
Here, of course, not to scale: (Although my room is as cramped as it appears): (http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o24/Rinku132/room.jpg)
TW, I'm guessing you're a Beatles fan?

What gave it away?
But yes, you're 100% right.
I kept my GC box too... I just never got rid of it and put it in my closet... Not sure if it's still there though.
What? You want to know what an insane guy like myseslf has in his room?
There's my bed to your direct left when you enter the door, between the door and the bed is a stack of black storage containers. Directly in front of the door is my bookshelf with all my DVD's and music and a whole bunch of junk on top of it.
There's a desk to the lefthand side of my bed, the bed's against the wall, and the Desk is against the wall with the window... then there's a long dresser that's against the wall parallel to the bed, in the corner between the dresser and desk, I have the trash can, and usually there's a lot of trash around that area... On my dresser, I usually have my GC, TV, and DVD-VCR... with my games and stuff stacked near the GC. To the right of the dresser is the closet, and that place is usually a mess. then we go back to the door, face the bookshelf again, and we see to the left there's a blue storage box... with a whole lot of old crappy books.
The walls are pretty bare. I never really put up any posters or anything on them. I guess that's about it... There's usually a whole bunch of stuff underneath my bed, a lot of boxes with board games and a whole LOT of my CD's...

It's pretty much just as bland as that picture is, but with random crap strewn all over the floor for a little extra spice.
Lmao Commodore lolololololol
PlayCube
GameStation lmao class
I'll get you pics as soooon as my room is cleaned up :D
...Which may be in a couple weeks or days. Meh...
Your consoles are nice Commodore, but i think i can beat you:
GameStations
Playcube
Xii
Nintendo 360
DSX
Plastation SP
SPX
PES
And the odd one out, my NES
That's right, i have 2 psx's, what of it?
Just at the door of my room (http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r153/faceless_nothing/room001.jpg)
My manga shelf, with Pokemon stuff & my memorial picture of Clarence (http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r153/faceless_nothing/room002.jpg)
The really bare-looking wall with the door on it. (http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r153/faceless_nothing/room003.jpg) (lol, two zelda posters and a print)
My Wizzrobe costume and bulletin board (http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r153/faceless_nothing/room004.jpg)
Sewing area (the left desk is REALLY messy...) (http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r153/faceless_nothing/room005.jpg)
Looking at it now, the pokemon plushies, figures, GB/A cases, pillow and poster look really out of place with my DeathNote, Loveless and Eerie Queerie manga... I also have a really big bell from Realmscon (2nd year) and dreamcatcher.
(by the way, there's a reason behind all of those stuffed animals... Aoi (crow) was the only crow left in the bunch, Edna (husky) I won at Oysterfest (last year), Trill (Hedgehog) was from years ago, grandma gave it to me, cat, mouse, Gengar, and komodo dragon were from friends, and the tiger was bought by my grandpa. Sly the Fox was the first thing I ever bought, he's second-hand, and Toronto (Moose, very upper right; he's not really in the picture, but he's the brown blob) was made in a build-a-bear workshop. I love goats, moose, deer, etc... )

No, I just don't have a room period.
How come everyone's room is cooler than mine? :P
I demand to know the same thing.
Wait, it's a lack of a TV, desk, Wii, PlayStation, Xbox 360, and several games. Especially the lack of a desk. Desks are freaking sweet.
I don't have a desk in my room. Neither do I have a Wii, XBox 360, or a Playstation. I seem to do fine.
I do, however, have a card table I use as a makeshift desk, and my old-school game systems are better than your current generation systems. Not to mention my Saturn is much more powerful than a PSX.
You're name is Twilight Wolf. Of course you do fine. I, on the other hand, require many tactical RPGs to surive. They're my oxygen. I need mah games! D:
That was very materialistic of me, wasn't it?

I've had this room I've had since I was four years old. And if thing go according to plan, I'm supposed to upgrade to "Less girlie" next summer. (Maybe less pink and purple)

That's enough of the "everyone hates me" bit, TP Zelda. No one (here, at least) hates you. I don't know where you're getting that idea.
No kidding, noone does.

Nobody hates you Gaara. I don't at least :D

He's the archer dude right?
Never really watched the Lord of the Rings movies more than once. They're just too long, and I don't have that kind of time.

Actually, your room looks quite cozy. I'd rather not ask why, in the last picture, there is a mutilated baby doll.

I am still childish though... as you can see from my bed... (notice... something blue, and a unicorn... ya... lol kinda creepy. [Been sayin that all day lol. Kinda creepy.] So ya... preeeeettty creepy.)

I actually meant the pink ones. XD Except mine are brown and tan, not pink and tan. No offense, I'm just... I look good in browns and greens.
Lol none taken.
Yeah I wasn't sure what boots you meant since I had two out... lmao
Yeah, I forgot to mention it. XD Sorry. I also have some Soubiboots in my closet (three years since they were last worn, so the glue deteriorated... in school. So I had to duct tape, glue and sew them back together. I plan on wrapping the duct tape in bandages, use some fake blood, and be either James or baby Soubi) , as well as some ancient black ones I wore once or twice...
Boots are fun to wear, aren't they?
Yeah they are lol. And it's k.
My black boots have uber skinny heels. But guess what? I can walk in them all day and even run in them lol. No, the heels have not broken yet.
SOOOOOO any new pics yet? Lol.
ZV's room sounds cool... actually, all da rooms look/sound/whatever cool... lol
I don't have any new pics, sorry... ugh, I'm terrible at getting photos. XD I forgot to get a picture of my messy computer desk, too...
I know this is an old topic, but I didn't wanna make a new one. Anyways, I (kind of) have a room now. Moved an air mattress out into the back room. Not sure what it's called :/ not the family room. Whatever. Anyways, I spent the weekend while they were away moving in a dresser and getting the stuff I really wanted out of the garage, so now I have my books again <3 So many I haven't read in ages...I'll be preoccupied for a while.
Nice to know you've got your own space now, Shika.
