Title: A possible victory for gamers?
Post by: Gamefreak on November 27, 2007, 06:47:58 PM
Now, I'm assuming that most people here know of Jack Thompson and his personal vendetta against us brain dead, murderous gamers.

The Florida Bar Association is involved in a case right now that if won, will revoke Jack Thompson of his right to practice law.

A victory for gamers, yes?

Ah, the Florida Bar Association is still fighting him, eh? Sounds very much so like a victory for us! No more deceit from the likes of him! :D

I'm considering moving down to Florida, tracking down Thompson, denouncing him for bringing a bad light on people named (or nicknamed) Jack, and then playing a violent video game in front of him.  True victory will come when I don't get arrested for it.

Yes, plus he says every other problem is caused by games.

Also, what specifically are they after him for? I know it says innapropriate conduct, but what specifically?

False accusations, vehement lying to the court... the usual charges.

Our news station just did a report about schools starting to use video games as part of the curriculum...another win for gamers...
