Title: Is there no stopping them?
Post by: Gamefreak on December 04, 2007, 02:21:28 PM
Activision, fresh from their buyout of Harmonix(Guitar Hero), have just bought out Blizzard, the makers of fine games such as Diablo, and Warcraft.

Be prepared to see skateboarding and Axe body spray in upcoming WoW updates.

Oh... oh God.

I think we need to nuke them where they're most vulnerable... our imagination.

This is pure evil. We will have to start our own gaming company to stop them. But serioulyy how could they do that.

*coughMicrosoftcoughcough*

Why do companies let other companies buy them out again?

I'm not a businessman.  I wouldn't know.

The only (non businessman) solution I could come up with is that Company A offers Company B lots and lots and lotsa money.

I didn't mean they were THE richest, but they're up there.

Thing is, it's not like Microsoft and Halo, where you buy the game once. Every WoW player pays monthly, and they've got millions playing and only more joining...I'd say it's short term gain, long term HUGE loss...

I never thought this day would come. *presses button on wall revealing huge gun rack* They bought out Blizzard. And I swear, if I see one orgrimmar grunt yell, BUY NEW ATRRACTIVE AXE BODY SPRAY! Im gunna go berserk.
I vote on the all out attack on the hellish company buyers.

This means you will be able to buy axe body spray to add to your charisma lvl and 5 gum to add elemental damage to your weapons in WoW

Most likely the money. Or maybe the fact that they bought more than half of their shares of stock, causing the company to officially be owned by the buyer. Latter or former? :-\
