It has been troubling me lately, which Link had the biggest hardest quest of them, if you want to count several games a single Link had, that's fine, and NO I'm not answering my own question.
I would say the Link in ALttP. He got turned into a bunny, saw his uncle die right in front of him...not to mention the quest was just as perilous as any other, possible more so.
Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask Link. He was just a regular kid thrown into a world of chaos. He saw his father figure (Great Deku Tree) die in front of his eyes, was tasked with saving the world from some do-nothing princess he didn't even know, saved an entire race from starvation, rescued the princess of another one, saw it all fall apart and skipped an entire seven years of his life, saw the world he knew under the iron-fisted rule of an evil tyrant, had to go gallivanting around the country to fix the mistakes of aforementioned do-nothing princess, saw it almost come to ruins again when she was kidnapped, faced down the evil tyrant and "killed" him, killed him again, and went back in time to pretend like none of it ever happened.
And that's not even mentioning the events of Majora's Mask. Poor kid. :(
I have to agree with you Commodore Falcon. Pretty rough time for a kid.
Yeah, Commodore pretty much said it all. No doubt the other Links have had it rough as well, but I'd be pretty hard press to come up with a rougher time for OoT/MM Link.
I agree with commodore.
In the OOT manga, It seems more sad.
But, in alttp, he saw his uncle die infront of him in his arms, which is quite sad.
But defo overall, OOT Link had the biggest Challange. ^^
LttP for the same reason as Shika said, and not to mention he was the longest journey. Then he had the whole LA thing, and if you read Eloze, then you know how traumatic that was. Then again, MM was probably the most disturbing of the Zelda's. It really depends on the kind of person Link is.

Thats a big 10/4 Commodore. You took the words right from my throat.
Id say LttP like Bboy said he had pretty much the longest journey, not to mention he had the soldiers after him for kidnapping Zelda.
I agree with Commodore.I mean he had to do half his quest as a little kid.
There are games where he was a kid the whole time though.
Could you emagine your little brother or sister, walking over to you and telling you that they are going to fight some monsters with a sword, and put their life at risk for your country. o.0
Although the Zelda games are awsome, you can't help but feel sorry for Link as a kid sometimes can you?
Wind Waker was pretty tramatic to.
Imagine living on a tiny island all your life, no recolection of your parents, living with your grandmother and sister.
One day your sister dissapears in the hands of a huge monsterous bird.
Your grandmother gets sick with worry.
You must brave the sea on a talking dragon ship trying to rescue her.
You also go and attepmt about 5 times too, if I'm correct.
Fighting monsters, mastering the wind,
All at age 12.

But OOT as well.
