Well, in 6 more days, Christmas will finally be here. so whats everyone doing for it? I'm just having a good ol christmas with my mom, dad, and uncle this year. Nothin too big, but its still all good.
I'm going to unleash a frozen Hell upon the world. See, I want to give my mom a paradoxal irony this year.
Hmm... 2 hours until its only 5 days. Might have wanted to make this topic a little later :P
Anyways, I'm just expecting clothes and money.
What chu talkin' about? It's only one more hour until it's only five days.
About three hours for me. Mysterious!
Anyways, we're having a nice family Christmas this year. Christmas Eve involves going to church for a special Christmas Eve service, then we're heading over to my Uncle Brian's house for a party. Then, on Christmas Day, we open presents, have a nice breakfast, then I think we're going to my Uncle Jeff's house for another get-together with our family.
There you go, our family's plans (I think...) for Christmas.
Hmm... well tommorow me and 4 friends are going out for like a pre-Christmas celebration. We're going by train for a traditional few games at planet-lazer then lunch, then an afternoon shopping!
Might go see a film with my best friend if anything is on.
On Christmas Eve we go to the Christingle, I'm not religious but it's nice, and you get the christingle of course, an orange with a red ribbon and spikes with sweets on. And our vicar always pretends to phone up God, and plays a recorded message of God's voice through the speakers. Ah, what fun.
My relatives have come over here from Kuwait so we spend a lot of the Christmas holidays with them and they come to our house for Christmas lunch.
On Christmas Eve, I go to a church service.
On Christmas Day, I'll get my PS3 then force everybody out of the room so I can play it.
I go to the same service, then get worked like a slave, then sleep, then get rock band hopefully, then play it, then aunts house where more playing will be done, then sleep
Well, on Friday we're going up to my aunt who spoils her kids unbelievably and has two of each video game system ever made except maybe only one PS3 and I'm sure I won't have fun at that dinner... ::)
Honestly, though, I probably won't play any games on Christmas day, I can do that later, I need to spend time with people...although, if I get GH3, one of the ways I can do that is with some co-op. ;)
Well, a little after Christmas, I plan on visiting my dad (and possibly JDog *hint* *hint* ;) ), but tomorrow I have to go pick up my sister and come back down a day or so later, I think. That means night driving for me. Joy. :-*
I really need to get my nighttime hours in before I'm eighteen, though, or else I'm screwed with taking driver's education all over again...
Anywho! I get two weeks of Winter Break this year instead of the one week at my old school. I'm loving that! :D Though I do wish that SSBB came out sooner... THEN I would spend more time owning people (and, subsequently, getting owned in return :P ).
I should try to finish my third game demo before Thursday if I want to take advantage of the perks of high-speed Internet to upload it before I have to visit my dad again.
All right, that's the end of my utterly confusing, long-winded memoir of my 2007-2008 Winter Break. Hope you enjoyed reading it. :P
I'm going to try not to get sick for Christmas, due to the fact that everybody else in my family has. My room is my safe zone, hopefully I won't get sick.
Anyways, my grandparents are here for Christmas, so thats pretty cool.
Finally, I won't be one as much, mainly just cuase I be doing a lot of stuff with my family.
If you want to stay healthy as long as possible when there are people everywhere. Bring 1) Hand Sanitizer and 2) Spray Disinfectant.
But if they have viral contagious diseases...put on a gas mask. :P
And drink juice! Lots and lots of juice! Here's hoping you don't get sick! It sucks to be sick during Christmas, right? ;)
One time I got Chicken Pox the day after Christmas Break. We were taking a trip down to Vegas and stopped in a hotel halfway, ended up having to turn around and go back with Dad while everyone else went. Got better three days before we had to go back to school.

Aww man, that BITES. I got Dehydrated easter morning about two years ago. That was hell ???
Dehydration sucks so bad. It hurts to move, think, breath, and even cough. Anyways, I don't know what I be doing for christmas... just a traditional dinner with my boring family.
Yup, pretty much the same thing as ZV, haha, aren't all families boring now days? lol jk
Only your family is boring, Jdog. Everyone else has moderately interesting families. But my family is so freaking amazing, we explode everyday from the sheer awesomeness of being the McBride Family.
I'll admit, I L'd my A O when I saw the title and then the opening post. Who knew JDog was capable of humor... or did a clever moderator change the title?
(tricksy little hobbits)
One of us mods changes it every day, Tacheon.
Jdog and lulz is a paradox that cannot happen. It's impossible. If it was possible, then the world would not exist.
He's so unfunny he comes right back around to funny?
A little of that, a little of something that's so bad and stupid it's funny.
huh! Who would have thought JDog could come up with such a witty, yet appropriate name for this topic? Well done my friend, you've referenced my favorite game!
And yeah, most families are boring nowadays. If I had kids though, and they had kids, I'd be raising them to be a rebelious kid like me, so our family would never grow dull again.
but thats just me. :P
...
Um, ZV, not too long ago we established the fact that mods were changing the name of this topic every day. Jdog only gets credit for starting the topic.

The Veteran loses half an internet. Try again later.
I, however, win. Remember, my word is law.
May her screams echo through the hallowed halls of my conscience, as I laugh maniacly, riding into the night, of which I'll never return...
In other words, yes, I have no witty response to your outragious accusations.
Look directly under jdog's first post in this topic, you'll see that it was ME who was changing the titles.
Geez, and no one noticed the 'I for one, bow down to our red and green clothed overlords'?
About the boring families thing, my mom was talking to our christmas tree last night, enjoy.
Who knows, maybe she thought the tree was a living, indepandant entity

Your mom could be my sister if my sister was more like me.
For my family, we open gifts on Christmas eve, go to sleep, open Santa's gifts, then head off to a Christmas party in San Antonio hosted by family.
We're going to a pantomime tommorow, sadly no one from Neighbours is in it this year. ;-;
I guess some of my family and friends of my family are coming over tomorrow for a dinner, seen how my mom doesn't want to do anything christmas day, we're going to do have our family dinner thing tomorrow for some odd reason.

OMG WE SHOULD TOTALLY MEET UP!! THAT'D BE AWESOME ZOMG ;D ;D
...You live in San Antonio?? Small world.
Yeah, it would be awesome to meet up, but I'd doubt if we could. >:
Well, christmas is nearly here, I am so pumped for christmas to be here. I can hardly wait, I doubt I'll get any sleep at all monday night, I'm always too excited to sleep, once I was so excited I woke up at 3 oclock and good not get back to sleep, because it was almost time for it. I love christmas, its probably the most exciting holiday of the year. its going to be super awesome this year, last year wasn't much fun, idk why, just didn't seem into it. but oh well, this year is going to be how do we say it? awesome. lol

I live in Cibolo. We go to the river walk all the time though, and we'll be at the Alamo today. My grandparents are here from Michigan so we're giving them the grand tourizmo.
That's odd. o: Maybe next November we could meet up at the Zero Day Anime festival...
Ahh, I love the Alamo. There's a kitty there, say hi to him for me. :D
That would kick bucket! And I love kitties, I definitely will.
MOD EDIT: Swearing. Sorry, but it's a warning.
Tomorrow is christmas, this is the final day of waiting my good pals! I can hardly wait!
Bah humbug!
And who did you copy that 'signatures are overrated' thing from? I know I saw it somewhere...
I think that was HNS' sig a long time ago.

I'm quite sure that it was either Alpha's or Blank's.

And is that warnable...?
EDIT: Thank you for your input, Dr. Sorry, ZV, but you know the rules...
One, it was from alpha who said avatars are overrated, so yea, i never copied. and no magmarfire, he said arse, not the word you are looking for. So anyways, its almost here... less than 24 hours now remain. :D

yes, for that is a swear in England i believe
It is? I was unaware of that, in fact, I never heard of that word before. anyways, to get us all back on topic.
I already have a general idea on what I am getting. :D
Jdog, I checked, it's copied from KP and Blank and Alpha.
I didn't get up too early today because I was watching Oldboy on TV till 2.55 ( great film).
So yeah, didn't wake up till the late time of 7.30, when I was small I would wake at like 4am on christmas.
Today was fun, everyone came round and we even played a game of yes/no altogether, it was so "classic family".

"Yes/No"? I'm intrigued. What is that? ;)
So magmarfire, ready to halo 3 it up when you get up here thursday? lol I did in fact get it for christmas, yay me! :D

Haha, it's not really a proper game.
But basically, you have these cards and you have to ask someone all the questions and the person answering isn't allowed to say yes or no. It gets quite tricky, but i won anyway!
But yeah we looked like an idyllic family, laughing together. Until my cousin started clawing at my brother.

I see. Sounds like closed-ended questions are what make it tricky. ;)
So I hope everyone had a great christmas.
How long is your guy's break? mines till like the 2nd I think.
My break ends on the 7th... we didn't get out until the 23rd, though, so... I have two weeks.
Same here, but mine ends on the 2nd. Not fair.
Life isn't always fair.
Mine started on the 19th, we go back on the 4th, it's pointless because it is a Friday. No one is gonna do any work because we'll be all hyped from the holiday and then it's the weekend again.
Back when I was in high school, we usually went back on the 2nd of January unless it fell on a Friday. If it fell on a Thursday, we were going back. I never did see the point of a two day school week, but hey, what could I do? So I just went.
Speaking of holidays, does anyone get the same time off each year? Because where I live, it varied. It could be a week and a half, two weeks, or somewhere in between; I think it had to do with what day Christmas fell on, but I'm not sure. The School Board down here does some pretty dumb things sometimes.
Yeah, it changes over here. Two years ago they canceled Easter Break. Half the kids didn't show because there's a large amount of Christians here.
We don't get to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. day, though, which is lame. I mean, what the hell, we'll celebrate Colombus day, for some dude who claimed a land for a country he's not even from and didn't even get to first, but not for a guy who brought the basis for equality to minorities? Just because we're all Mexican and white? That ruins the point of his message, equality.... ffkdjlkj D<
... Sorry. That had nothing to do with your post.
We never celebrated Columbus Day, though we did have our good with MLK Jr. I THINK.
