I just read something that reports something I find odd. It said that two thirds of all dreams are in black and white and even though people may dream in color, they may do so only in one time out of three.
I find this as exceptionally odd as in all of my dreams, I find myself capable of seeing color. I cannot recall a dream where I was restricted to Black, White, and Grey.
So really, do you dream in color? Are the colors intense or more everyday like? Or is there any color at all?
I dream in color. In fact, I had a pretty cool dream last night that was in color.
I've dreamed in black and white before. It doesn't happen very often, but it still happens from time to time.
Er, why? Does that mean something? ;)
I'm pretty sure I dream in colour, but just normal real to life colour. I'm sure I've had a few dreams in black and white, but not the majority.
Not really, i'm just trying to prove that study wrong.
I dream in EXCITOCOLOR! colors so amazing looking at them for 15 minutes can cause your eyes to melt!
I see a red dream and i want to paint it black...
That's it, no more MadTV for Rabies.
Well, technically, black and white are colors. Just thought I would throw that out there. ;)
Anyway, I don't really notice dreaming in black and white. I think in one of my dreams, I remember green grass, ocean-esque water, and gray metal "oil rig"-esque things that I messed with with my telekinetic powers. :P
But seriously, I'm more concerned with being able to lucid dream than dreaming in grayscale. :-*
I dream in color. Sometimes I have the fun of dreaming anime style.
I dreamed anime-style last night. Two teams of 15 girls each. Some really weird crossover sports.
What? Too much information?
Well, I harldly remember my dreams, but when I have an awesome dream, it's usually in color. I usually don't dream about real life though. Usually some form of blending of mmy favorite series, like Transformers, Sonic, and Pokemon. Freakin' awesome.
I always dream in color that from which I can remember.
I don't think I've ever dreamed in just black-and-white. Ever. I've dreamed in mostly black-and-white at least once, but the one time I can remember a dream like that, I know I did see shades of blue.

Anywho, all the dreams I remember are in color. Maybe except for this one dream, but that was because the lighting in the dream was kind of dark.

Lol when I read that second part I saw your ava and it was sooo funny. (Like Shika was stating something lol)
I dream in color.
All of my dreams are in color. I'm sure I've had a black and white dream once or twice, but most are in color. Thats just like how they say Animals see in black and white. Were they ever an animal? And how would you explain why bulls react to the color red? My dreams are colorful(sometimes too much for my own good) and I don't know anyone who dreams in black and white all the time.
Dude, scientists have already proven that Bulls don't see red.
And there's such a thing as documentation... the study I'm citing had thousands of recorded dreams.
My dreams are in colour, but they aren't. The colour is there, but it is very unsaturated. It's like, 1 part colour, 3 parts grey/brown.
The most prominent colours in my dreams are orange, brown, and red. I'm not sure why... well, I have a clue for orange and red.
Sometimes the colour is a little more saturated at different points.
I never really payed attention. I also never realized that you could dream in anything else BUT color. Usually the main charactersand what not are in really bright colors while everything else is color, just less defined and more dim.
I don't actually recall dreaming anything in black and white at all... well, sometimes in my dreams I'm blind, so it's all black, but... I probably do dream in black and white but just forgot. ;)
Okay, I know I dreamed in color last night... I dreamed that my dad and I drove by several garage sales on the street across the highway from ours, and I know I saw the cover of the Beatles' album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" in a box of records at one of the garage sales. We also looked at a car for sale (I'm pretty sure it was a Toyota, although I don't know why I dreamed of the particular brand) at the garage sale with the Beatles album. It was a white car, and it was parked on a patch of grass. The Toyota logo on the trunk was gold, and the interior was dark blue. I also dreamed I was playing "NiGHTS Into Dreams..." on my Sega Saturn, and that game is packed with lots of colors.
Maybe I do dream in black-and-white sometimes, but for some reason or another, I never remember the dreams that are like that.
Does anyone dream in sound? I do... I think. I'll have to pay more attention lol
I dream in Dolby Surround Sound. Beat that.
I wish I could dream with Surround sound. But I'm reduced to mono...

How so? You mean like dreaming with just sounds, with no images? I dream like that a lot. Most recently I dreamed I heard someone waking around down by our garage. It wasn't an animal... it sounded distinctly like human footsteps. Then I heard a car pull up; it sounded like it was playing really bass-heavy music with its windows up. Then it revved away. I looked around the garage the next morning, and I didn't find any footprints. Strange.
Any kind of sound... Mutated sounds, surround sound, etc lol
I dream in color...I think. Whenever I wake up, I never really think about wheather my dream was in color or not, just what happened.
I dreamt in color last night. Mostly, it was, like...snow/ice blue because it was a lot like a crossover between The Day After Tomorrow and Star Trek: The Next Generation. Pretty strange, but I DO remember color. :-\
