Just thought I'd make the topic before it gets started tomorrow, since I'll be gone.

I already opened my gifts from friends and family and stuff, so I'll just list what I got:

-Ben got me (sapphire) earrings. I knew it. He gave me about 5 boxes, too. I'm giving him a thank note COVERED IN DUCT TAPE.
-Grandma got me earrings (diamond) and a bunch of other jewelry. (I... don't wear jewelry, unfortunately...) She also got me second hand stuff to sell on eBay. o_o
-Mom and Dad gave me the Secret Window, and a subscription to GameInformer.
-My other grandma gave me a silk nightgown, body spray, and fuzzy blue slippers.
-Grandpa gave me a digital camera o:

Tommorow... well, I'm hoping I get one of the Silent Hill games, but that's unlikely... >_> and Guitar Hero III... and... UH... I dunno. I'll probably get gift cards from my various other relatives.

Well, Christmas gift exchange hasn't quite finished yet, just a few more days. But so far I got a laser light thing, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City, an iPod AA battery recharger, and a tablet with Photoshop. As you may have noticed, my new avatar was done by it.  :) But I still need to buy stuff for my family.

Let's see now, two shirts, both of them black.  One has the Irish flag with a clover in the middle of it.  The other has the D&D logo sprawled across the chest.  I also got a Trans-Siberian Orchestra CD (The Lost Christmas Eve), a Lord of the Rings 2008 wall calendar, this pillow-like thing for when I'm sitting on the floor with my laptop, and a couple of games.  The games are Lady Sia (which I do believe our very own LadyNintendo recommended) and Fire Emblem:  The Sacred Stones.

Seeing as how I already have FE 8, I'm either going to give it to my friend or take it to GameStop.  Then I'm going to make a mental note to go with my mom the next time she tries to buy me a video game.

There's also this Napoleon Dynamite 2008 calendar I got. Also cool. ^_^

Yeah, apparently it was a Target-only offer. The thing is, neither is wireless. But it's nice having three guitars now. (One from GH2) If they ever decide to make a Guitar Hero that's all Lynyrd Skynyrd, I'm set. :P

Well, see, Doctor, FE games start out hard, but once you get everyone to level 20 in their promoted form, weapon and magic triangles no longer matter and reaver weapons might as well be regular weapons.  Even your weakest unit can do some serious ownage.

The game I got Modern warfare if by far my most farvorite game of all time. I love it. The graphics on it are killer. The story line rocks, the war part rocks. Its defently number 2 on my favorite list of things I got for christmas. The Xbox 360 comes first. Halo 3 is the 3rd fav, and NCAA football 2008 is my fourth fav. :D I got more things, but those are my favorite things.

She is also very disappointed she didn't get that High School Musical dvd (with deleted scenes! Heck yes! -_-*)

Oh and my aunt just gave me another leather jacket (this would be the fourth she's given me...) yesterday. Even though xmas is already  over...

Aw, that happened to me I ordered it about two months before it was released in the UK and I didn't get it on the day. I got it about a week and a half later and I got a free game so it was okay though ^^

And my penpal from Canada sent me two letters and Christmas present and they never got here. Oh, and someone was supposed to send me a check so I could, you know, be paid. Not here, either, and it's not even out of country.

i.e.; Mail sucks. Don't do it. Ever. I lost just about 40 dollars in our mail system. I also got a birthday card from my grandma in San Antonio in November. My birthday's in September.

Well not really, I got it online for £180 and its the same price in the shops aswell. I get my money back, so I wouldnt be wasting money, I would just have my money back and spending it again ^.~

Because the american dollar went to hell and now all the european currencies are worth twice as much as the american dollar, which is worth almost nil.

I've played guitar hero 3 for three hours straight last night. Idk what happened, but now everytime I put pressure on my thumb, it feels like its a sleep or something.

I'm not sure which one that is in Japanese, but I have
Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4.
It's the Japanese version of the Clash of the Ninja 4.
It's alot better and I like the Japanese voices alot more than the English ones anyway.
But you need 'Free Loader' to play it.

In a way, I kind of got an N64 and an NES for Christmas.  We had to replace our TV recently, and it's now currently in my room.  It's not worth watching anything on, but I did figure out how to hook the N64 to it. :D

After looking through my presents... uhhh... well, I got some stuff I don't particularly care for. Mostly jewelry. I got some diamond earrings, they're nice but I probably won't wear them, sapphire earrings, which I'll be more likely to wear, butterfly earrings which I adore, and... a $65 blue topaz and gold ring from my grandparents, as well as a pearl necklace, gold and pearl bird & nest pin, and sapphire/pearl/gold cross necklace.

I feel bad for not liking most of it, but I don't usually wear jewelry. I got my ears pierced, but... I really don't care for gold/jewels on my earrings.

Also, I got some shoes that I can't wear. Well, I can, but I'm like... horribly claustrophobic. Especially my feet. ... I'm not sure why, either, but... yeah.

I still have about 25 dollars left of money. >_> I might get my hair cut shorter with it.

For New Year's, I got a game called Romancing Saga. Never heard of it before, I'm playing it now. It's...Well, there's no plot at all so far. They just put me in control of these three guys. We're pirates (You get to pick between eight characters with different storylines at the beginning. I picked the pirate of course) and I'm just running the ship into a bunch of birds and fish and trying to figure out the battle system completely. It's used, so it doesn't have the little booklet...

I just realized that within one Christmas, I've more than doubled the amount of DS games I have.

A few nights ago, I got a quite unexpected amount of $45, to add to the other $100 I got. Thank goodness there's a Shop Channel on the Wii, or else I would have no idea on what games to spend the money on. :P

Anyways, I've finally discovered some kind of plot. I found this place called Pirate Coast, apparently it's the hometown of Pirates. Go figure. Anyways, there's this huge debate over changing the pirate policy to killing everyone on board the ships, because people aren't afraid of pirates anymore. And of course, I'm the goody-two shoes who has to oppose it. Although it would be fun....oh well. So I have to go to this place called Mask Isle and duel the other pirate. Yay.

It's actually pretty unique, a nice find.

Well, I got the series right.

It's actually a really fun game, it's got a lot of variety and customization, but I can't play it for a bit longer because the twins got back into Thrillville again and won't stop playing it.

Actually, no. Romancing SaGa was the 'SaGa" series for the SNES. The Gameboy series is just known as 'SaGa'. Romancing SaGa was the first of three for the SNES... I haven't played it, no translation and don't have the PS2. But I really like how unique the SaGa series as a whole is.

Pheonix Wright is one of the most unique, awesome games ever made. It's a lawyer game, pretty much. Solve cases and defend people in court, etc. Unfortunately, no ambulance-chasing minigames.

SaGa is really fun once you get into it though. Just took me a long time to get used to the stats and how they work, since the packet was missing. I still don't have it all figured out, and I've been tinkering with it for a few hours.

Stats in SaGa are fairly straightforward (though unique). Basically it works such that anything that you do a lot of - the stat related to that grows. Lose a lot of HP? HP goes up. Use magic a lot? mana goes up. Agility comes by using stuff like bows and maybe martial arts.

Huh, I get it. That would definitely explain the lack of experience and levels in the game. Alright, thanks JQ. Also, my main character...if your non-main characters lose all their LP, they leave, right? What about if it happens to your main character? (In this case, the main character is a big beefy pirate named Creampuff)
