Title: Weekend Shenanigans
Post by: Fishalicious on December 30, 2007, 04:33:06 PM
This weekend has been fun... I've been over at a friend's house. o: not sure why, but... XD

So, I bought Silent Hill 4 for the PS2. I've never played this one (I still need to beat it, 0, 1, and 5.) so I was delighted to be able to buy it. Of course, mom's mad because I don't own a PS2, so she doesn't see why I bought it, but...

So, yes, I bought it and was going to play it... but my friend has Rock Band for the 360. We stayed up until like... 11 at night playing it, then her mom complained about it being to loud, so we played Silent Hill 4 instead.

It wasn't by any means loud (you can hardly hear the main character's voice) but we had to stop once I got on the return trip from Subway world to watch two movies.

We watched the Simpsons Movie and then Paprika, an original film by the guy who made Paranoia Agent... it's actually really amazing. It's about... dreams. And, yeah, I can't even begin to explain it... anyway, after that, every except me was asleep in the house... so I snuck into the living room and played some more Silent Hill. I love my metal pipe.

The next day, I woke up before everyone (... I don't sleep a lot, I guess XD) and was playing Silent Hill again (which I promptly stopped, due to the ghosts) and I let my friends sleep in while I did their job. ~ Then I decided they'd hang out together while I was gone, so I was okay with the decision. o:

Then we played some more Rock Band (I play bass) because Steven is a jerk and wouldn't let me play Silent Hill. >_> Then we played until 11, watched two more movies, I stole the PS2 and played it, then fell asleep. Ahah, I'm so lame.

But, Rock Band is awesome. My character is named Pecan. He's... a hobo. Not really, but he wears the Dr. Who jacket (green coat, black shirt, grey scarf) and tilted patchwork jeans, as well as fingerless dark green gloves and duct taped boots. He looks like a hobo, so of course that's what he's known as. He also has long dirty-blonde hair and red eyes with bags under them and a lovely blood spatter across the face. All I need is the chainsaw bass... >_>

Silent Hill 4 is awesome, too. I saved it on the wrong memory card, so my save data left with Joe. ^^; So I started a new file, and I just laughed at the cutscenes. ... Mr. Wall Man reminds me of Chewbacca. Oh, and Henry is very metrosexual. And also a cat. (don't ask, Walter's a puppy and Eileen's a bunny, as well.)

I also love Cynthia. I dislike her, so I started beating her with the metal pipe... she'd scream, hit, scream, hit, etc... until I'd stop for a while and run off. Then she'd follow. Repeat. >_> She's not smart.

Then when I found the bloody dead body, the first thing to hit my mind was "GET ME SOME PAPER TOWELS...!"

...I'm going to hell for laughing at such a sad scene in Silent Hill. ...Or for just laughing at dead people. And comparing them to Chewbacca. And for several other reasons.

Wait, you bought silent hill 4 even though you have no PS2? How does that happen?

I believe she used money. You know, that paper stuff you can exchange for goods and services.

Is that what you use it for?  And here I've been, eating it for breakfast.

I was talking about why she'd buy a game she doesn't have a system for. Geez, need you two always be so annoying? ::)

We're adorably sarcastic.  What is this "annoying" you speak of?

Also, I don't see why you grouped me with Commodore in this instance; I was replying to him, not you.

Yeah, I think Commodore got it right. Well, I did also have to get parental permission... rated M for violence/gore/horror/awesome, you see.

As to why, as I'm sure you meant, I have a friend with a PS2. I find it a lot better to play Silent Hill with company, anyway, because I'm kind of retarded and skip out on things.

My friend has a black cat, she was sleeping behind the curtains. When I was playing Silent Hill, the dogs scared her and she ran off. She scared me.

I couldn't stand up, now that is just awesome fear.

We're trying to start a band in my programming class.

Me = singer
Dr. = Lead guitar
Ross = Drummer

You can play bass if you want Fisk.

I wish my school was that cool. :(

If you really want your school to be that cool, you could just, oh, I don't know, start your own band?

Of course, how cool can a school be if it has someone named Ross in it?  Answer:  Absolutely freaking amazingly cool.  If only because, by name association, Ross was a powerhouse in FE 8.

You know, if you actually took the time to train him.  Yeah, that's right.  I'm glaring at you, ZV.  Keine Plätzchen für Sie!

Ross was also that guy in Friends. That makes it lame.

Hella lame.

But HNS, that would take action...

Ross is cool, but Ewan is better. If only because he has a name that wasn't made lame by the lamest character on Friends.

Well, Lemming is going to get it, but he says he'll probably get it for the PS2 instead of the 360. Why!?!?!

I just ignore that show to perserve the awesomeness of Ross.

And of course Ewan is cooler.  He has magic.  Anyone with magic is cooler than anyone with an axe.

Of course, Amelia is the coolest of the journeymen.  She makes a kick butt general, but an even more kick butt (and sexier) paladin.  Let her have full control of the weapon triangle like the paladins of old, and I would be drooling constantly.

Rock Band isn't for PS2, I don't think. At least, that's why the friends got it for 360, not PS2.

And, GF, I'd love to play bass. o: ... Some people don't seem to think that bass is a decent instrument. >_> WELL I'LL PROVE THEM WRONG... oh, and I play the back-up singers, too. My character even sings. He sings girl songs, though.

Oh, I might be going back over there to be celebrating New Years. o: And I might try and finish Robbie over there, but I'm not sure. No one really likes Robbie.

Well Ross isn't Edward, now is he?

[ZV loses 1 point for denying Ross, Ewan, and Amelia their chance for glory]

Well, zv, it's because you are training EDWARD, he's weaker then a bard

What you need is boyd and gatrie, that's all you should need, even in the chapters you cant use them

Joshua is good, but Marisa is better.  And smexier.  Ismaire is a Marisa clone, in terms of pwning ability.  And just as smexy.  Give both of them a Shamshir, a Wind Sword, a Hoplon Guard, and a couple of vulneries each, and I could probably use only those two to clear the Melkaen Coast, even in a fog of war.

I thought it was only for 360?That's what I (though it's my brothers) have it for.

According to Wikipedia, Rock Band is for the PS2, PS3, and Xbox 360.  Although I can see how people think that Rock Band is only for the 360; that's the only system I see it advertised for.
