Title: Robbie the Rabbit -- Finished.
Post by: Fishalicious on December 31, 2007, 05:00:07 PM
... Sort of. I still need to make the "shirt" and overalls, so it's just the hands, feet, and head. >_>

fdsfdsakl;j if photobucket decides to work, I'll upload better quality pictures in a minute. /: I can't believe my sister can *** up the computer THIS bad in five minutes... >_>

ANYWAY. Here's some cut-up pictures of Robbie's head (http://negativezerro.deviantart.com/art/Robbie-Rabbit-Head-73456929).

I warn you, he is in fact, quite bloody. and I swear a bit in the description. haha, oops.

If I was younger, this could give me nightmares.

Also, I've given up on Photobucket.  Let us find a better image hosting site together!

There's always photoshack or whatever it's called... >_>

Ah, thanks. Robbie is... yeah, he's nightmare inducing. ;3 To give an idea of how the costume should look when finished, here's a video (http://youtube.com/watch?v=wdaSeHaWHrs) starring him. It, too, is bloody, so be warned.

Did I mention that the eyes of my costume "follow" you as long as you can see the pupils? Yeah, his eyes... they're of the "follow-me" type. ;3

Follow-me eyes ftw.

And Imageshack?  That was the first image hosting site I tried.  It sucked.

I have a taxidermy alligator head. It's for artistic purposes, as is most of my taxidermy stuff. It's easy to study how light hits fur with actual fur, and to see how the head of the alligator is constructed; muscles, skin, eyes, etc.

Andddd.... er, I'm sure there is a way of seeing it on a non-youtube host. Can you see Google video?

Robbie Rabbit, Silent Hill... I think the clip I showed was from Usagi, but you should get results just fine with Robbie and Silent Hill.

If not, type in Lakeside Amusement Park Otherworld.

That was creepy. I want to play that game now. And maybe I'll use a pyrimid head as my new avitar.

Alright, I finished Robbie's overalls a few nights ago; I need to downsize them a little bit, actually. (not that much, I'm going to actually stuff some pillows in with me, because Robbie is larger than I am.)

I finally got photobucket to upload pictures for me, so now I can show you detail shots:

Robbie on my friend's couch (http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r153/faceless_nothing/envoi/other/costume/robbiecouch.jpg) (her mom didn't even care when she went to make breakfast that there was a huge dead rabbit on her couch XD)
Right side of his face (http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r153/faceless_nothing/envoi/other/costume/robbiepaint001.jpg)
Left side of his face (http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r153/faceless_nothing/envoi/other/costume/robbiepaint002.jpg)
Moving behind him to demonstrate the moving eyes (http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r153/faceless_nothing/envoi/other/costume/robbiepaint003.jpg)
Mostly front of his face, showing blood detail (http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r153/faceless_nothing/envoi/other/costume/robbiepaint004.jpg)
Up and to the left, showing moving eye and eyebrows (http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r153/faceless_nothing/envoi/other/costume/robbiepaint005.jpg)
Directly above him (http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r153/faceless_nothing/envoi/other/costume/robbiepaint006.jpg)

... I have since added his brown irises around the eyes. I didn't realise he had brown eyes... >_>

Oh, and I got in the costume I have finished... and I sang the  ever-so-creepy Happy Birthday Song (http://youtube.com/watch?v=LXfmZnsb3ZU&feature=related) from Silent HIll 3 to Steven.

He me laugh so hard I cried. XD Trying to finish it was really hard, I was laughing too hard to be serious.

I also went "omgendrance" because he was playing .hack//G.U., and Endrance was there. ... That, too, ruined the song.
