What was your favorite minigame/sidequest? Mine were always the Skulltula houses, because they were a test of wits, deductive reasoning, and accuracy.
I enjoy the Anju and Kafei side quest. It's so satisfying to bring a couple together. Plus I get to steal someone's reservation! :D
(Of course, you don't need to go through the Anju/Kafei side quest to steal the reservation.)
Seeing as how the Hide and Seek dungeons on the moon are optional, I'm going to go ahead and call them side quests. My favorite two are the Zora Hide and Seek and the Link Hide and Seek. A sort of maze to find the kid (and the Heart Piece) and three of my favorite mini-bosses. Yay! I especially love the questions the (all of the) kids ask once you found them and gave them more masks. Really makes you think (unless you're brain dead).
Anju & Kafei, Skulltula houses, and... well, the shooting galleries/photograph trip.

Actually you don't have to steal the reservation either, you can just break in through the top floor.
Anyway, my favorite side quest was the Anju and Kafie quest.
My favorite minigame was the swamp shooting gallary. Shooting stuff for money is great, shooting
living,
moving things for money is better.
If you want the 100 rupees in the Knife Chamber (the reservation room) and get some more depth to the story (especially the Anju/Kafei side plot), you do need to steal the reservation. Otherwise, you indeed do not need to take the reservation to beat the game.
Deffinitely the Sun Mask part.
Also the Swamp Shooting Gallery.
It´s something that I think was lacking in TP.
TP was definitely lacking in side quests. Another thing Majora's Mask has that gave it a lot more dimension, was the days system. Everyone was doing something different every day. I wish they would implement the days system into more Zelda games.
Anyways, to be on topic, my favorite sidequest was the Anju/Kafei sidequest. I enjoyed the vastness of it, and it almost made it seem like a story than a sidequest. I also enjoyed the Aliens one, that was fun! So was the follow up quest, with delivering the milk. I think its creepy that if Romani gets abducted with the cows, she comes back totally braindead. Do you think they cut her head open and took her brain apart? :-[
Huh, Romani does get abducted if you fail. That should go in the Did You Know topic.
