:-\ I believe in the split timeline theory. So, if we can thrust it, were the hell is TP :'( Tell me I must know :-*
Uh, most split timeline theorists believe that it happens in the child timeline sometime after MM. I believe Aonuma said as much.
Really? Well, that doesn't fit. ;)
How so?
I personally think TP is... well, in Hyrule A, sometime before the Oracle game.
SPOILER!!!
After all, Link kills Ganondorf at the end.
END OF SPOILER!!!
Ganon(dorf) has been killed/banished so many times in the Zelda series that using "Link killed him" as a reason for why a game belongs in a certain place is laughable.
I would say that it would be placed...in the adult timeline. I believe that TKoRL said that the Triforce of Courage split into eight pieces because Link went away from the "place that had made him a hero." I assume that happened a little before the events of MM; plus, in TP, the Triforce of Courage isn't split. In that case, either it was put back together before the events of TP or it wasn't split to begin with.
That's my opinion, anyways.

Isn't sticking a sword into his magical wound or whatever called death? :D

IF you are right, i guess it will be after WW, when the Triforce of Courage is in one piece. Or just casually has follen to Link at the end of Hyrule A. Or in other words: Some time before the Oracle game. :D

You totally misunderstood what I said. It's not a matter of killing Ganondorf to decide where a game goes in any timeline; in several games the 'Dorf (mostly under the guise of Ganon) has been killed, so saying, "Oh, Game A must go before Game B because Link killed Ganondorf" is flawed reasoning. If anything, it's a minor reason and you should look at major things such as changing geography to place games.

OK, I figured it out when I was out with my dog.( I usually think of Zelda then :D )
When in OoT Ganondorf got the ToP and splited the Triforce, it actually happend the separation between the 2 dimensions. If I'm correct, then each one of the dimension has its TRIFORCE. That means, that when Adult Link left the future to go to the past, he broked the ToC of Hyrule B. And the ToC of Hyrule A is actually intact. I dunno what happens after that because I never did played all Zelda games and I don't know if something happend to the ToC in Hyrule A after that. Wow, I just said that there are 2 Triforces out there ;)
Well, two timelines probably do equal two different versions of the Triforce. ;)
Huh. Now that I think about it, if you go down one timeline, it's as if the other timeline doesn't even exist. Of course, that would depend on how you view alternate universes... Still, it's a little depressing, in a way. Like a part of the Zelda series isn't canon or something...
Gah, what am I saying? I'm probably just spewing out nonsense... >>
Now all we need is a Zelda game that connects the two timelines (the so called Zelda 2008?) ;)
Doesn't OoT connects the two timelines? After all, that is where the split is supposed to have taken place, right?
Or did you mean merge the two timelines back together? That would most likely be messy.

I meaned merge them. ;D Or they probably continue with this one, beacause if they merge them, they would start dividing them again and becoming more messy than Prince of Persia ???
Why not just keep the split timelines going? It lets you have a lot more variety with the content.
Also, has there been any confirmation that Zelda 2008 will connect the timelines? I've heard nothing about it.

It hasn't actually. It was a crazy idea, but its possibile. You know Nintendo, they can do anything anytime :) One thing its for sure, the new Zelda with totally RULE! ;D
That's what I thought about Twilight Princess...

Thats what we all thought...
Anyway, be optimistic! Miyamoto sad TP will be the last game of its kind! I hope in the next Zelda we can actually FEEl the world, just like we fealed OoT. ;D Or the game companies should find a way to make games into 4th dimension ;D ROFL
Not sure about the fourth dimension. It's kind of in there already. :P

The 4th dimension rules! :P ;D
Edit: SPOILERS!!!
Today I beated(again) my good ol' pal Ganondorf. When I was watching the credits, there was a scene when we could actually see the Master Sword back in its original position in the Eternal grove. I think this is a very important scene because I think its a link to other Zelda games. I thought that TP could be before the Oracle series game in the child timeline, but this could actually prove that it was before aLttP. What do you think?
