Title: "Teacher seeks pupil: Must have an earnest desire to save the world."

After reading the title, you're probably thinking to yourselves, What the heck is that guy talking about?

Well, a few weeks ago, I was assigned to read a book, Ishmael by Daniel Quinn. As always, I was apprehensive about reading it, thinking that it was just going to be un-entertaining to me. Like many other times, however, I was dead wrong. The points that are made in this book are extremely fascinating, combining both the explanations about how things came to be this way and about the author's interpretation about our world.

This book, as well as its sequel, My Ishmael, was awesome, in my honest opinion. You won't find much action in there, but regardless, I highly recommend reading this book.

Is this Wikipedia article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ishmael_%28novel%29) at all accurate? Because if it is, that sounds completely insane. But not in a bad way or anything, it actually sounds quite interesting.

Thanks for bringing this book to may attention, MagmarFire. I'm definitely gonna give it a read.

It is rather accurate, actually. Definitely an interesting read.

I agree.  If I ever come across the book, I shall have to (attempt to) read it.
