Title: Crysis - An instant classic
Post by: iastreb on March 22, 2008, 11:57:26 AM
Well, guys, I'm happy. Very, Very happy.  :D

I beated Crysis today. And I can tell you: It wasnt easy.

I'm going to tell you the things I liked in this game:
1. Maybe the best grafics I have ever seen.
2. Realistic gameplay, so realistic that you can actually feel like you are in the game.
3.I am still shaking from that sound of an exploding tank.  ;)
4.I beated the game on easy, and call me a total newbie but I barely maded the first few missions: it was hard beating it on the Easy setting!
5.Story that deserves to be mentioned.  :D

And this game deserves a topic in TDC.   :)

Holy cr** Iastreb, I didnt think I'd ever see you on these forums again. You left when I was a total n00b! Welcome back!! *this is late, I know, I dont get on often anymore).

Anyway, it sounds like an amazing game. It remidns me alot fo mercenaries, from what you've described- basically a tough game with awesome graphics and alot of rumbly explosions.  :)

Well, see, not everyone plays games on their PCs, so it's quite possible that one wouldn't know that Crysis is an FPS.

Well, it was one of the most awaited games of the last year.  :D And besides, I started playing PC games when I got a real powerfull PC. My new one is like 5 times more powerfull that my old one.

I don't play PC games at all, so it doesn't surprise me.

Besides, most of the PC games need like some really powerfull systems, and most of them arent even worth playing. But not Crysis.  :)

Wow, I had no clue this game was for the PC untill I read that one post... so yea, in fact, i never heard of this game till I read this topic... sounds interesting. I'd play it if my PC wasn't such crap and won't hold games.
