Title: Least Favorite Character
Post by: Mysterious F. on March 30, 2008, 12:31:59 PM
Well, we've seen so many wonderful characters in the Zelda series. Unfortunately, we've seen so many crappy ones as well. This pole is dedicated(?  :o ) to those crappy characters that made everyone laugh cry.

My vote goes for the old man(men) from the Oracle games that STEAL Rupees from Link. They must be incredibly stupid to steal money from a guy with a sword. Plus, one of them made me bankrupt.  >:(

You broke his door, and he expects payment to get it fixed.  It's not stealing.

Oh man! Where do I begin?! But if I were to put somone(or some people) at the top of my list I'd haveto say those traitorous villagers who call the guards on me in ALttP. Other people in town know I'm no a kidnapper, so what makes those other people think I am? Fools!   :P

I was also rather frustrated with Princess Ruto.  I mean-- she wants my help getting out of the damn dungeon, but she won't even get up and move on her own?  What a spoiled brat!

I dislike the guy in MM with the golden seahorse. D: I just don't like him. And I also don't like the spiderhouse guys. But I don't like, hate them or anything.

... Hm, I don't know who would be my least favourite. >:
Title: Re:Least Favorite Character

I liked the Spider House guys.  Their tale was so sad.

Hmm... :\

I also really, really didn't like Falbi.

You know, "Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!"

Post by: Fishalicious on April 27, 2008, 09:12:54 AM
I meant the ones from MM... the ones who were greedy, methinks. I liked the ones in OOT.

No one likes clowns. They shouldn't even count in this, I don't know anyone who likes them.

Eirika is also a princess, but she took up the sword to protect her kingdom.  Being a princess is no excuse for being so spoiled.  Naïve, yes; spoiled, no.

I don't think you can blame someone for how they were raised and the situations they were brought up in. Of course, not being able to walk yourself places is a bit much, but hey.

Also, who on earth is Eirika?
Title: Re:Least Favorite Character
Post by: Fishalicious on April 27, 2008, 04:05:35 PM
She's a fish person. Fish usually don't walk.

I know, I'm a whale biologist.

Those are usually for walking.
Title: Re:Least Favorite Character

Birds have legs. They usually don't walk that often. Except ostriches, emu, kiwi, and cassowaries. No one likes them, though. But she can walk, she just doesn't walk very often.

... u_u; Actually, I'm just going to say she can walk and should. I don't actually believe her being a Zora means she can't walk often/at all.

One of two lords in Fire Emblem:  The Sacred Stones.  See, I would have said Zelda, but we don't see her do much to protect Hyrule, so it's kind of a weak argument, you know?

Actually, male penguins migrate deep inland into Antarctica carrying their mates eggs so they can hatch away from the coast and all the predators that could kill their babies. After that, female penguins go to where their mates are to take the male penguins back and raise their offspring. In conclusion, penguins DO walk a lot.  :) And I like ostriches, too.

And I agree, no one liked those clowns. No one. I'm saying it, and, according to JQ, HNS, and many other members, I am apparently always right, so this is true.  ;D

But we're sarcastic members, so no.  You are not always right.  You know why?  Because I didn't mind the clowns.  I enjoy comic relief.

As for clowns in real life, I have no real opinion on them.  I just don't come across them enough to form an opinion.

I'd say it's more of a 'Mo-weep, mo-weep, mo-weep', but that's just me.

Also, I forgot to mention that Business Scrub in South Clock Town (Majora's Mask).  You know, the one where every time you get even close to his flower after you restart the cycle, you have to go through that annoying cutscene?  It's not that big of a deal, but it still irritates me.

Agreed.  I generally avoid it unless I want to go through that trading sequence, but since I don't have a reason to do so now, I'm pretty good at staying clear of it.

Zelda in OoT. Why does she have to take Ganon on her own? Why does she have to reveal herself no less then a mile away from Ganon? She couldn't give you the Light arrows in the chamber of sages or whatever? I just found her totally stupid in OoT, but thats just me.

Also Navi, don't get me started on Navi. ???

Seconded in regards to Zelda.  I felt that she was foolish and selfish... if it was truly as epic a game as everyone said it would be, she would be forced to pay.
