I thought the video looked pretty cool for an April Fools Joke, although Link looked like a fool after he actually donned the tunic and what have you.
EDIT: I want your opinions on the topic, what you thought about it, and if you knew if it was a spoof immediately.
!!!
I saw it on YouTube and it said it was an April Fools thing, so I probably figured it out about then.
It was just a generic fantasy movie trailer with Zelda crap added. Not really all that exciting or interesting, IMO.
Also, Ganondorf and Zelda looked retarded.
It gets worse, though.
That trailer's been out for about 7 months now.
That's no joke...
Are you guys talking about the Zelda movie IGN is planning to release? :-\
...
It was fake. There is no Zelda movie.
Unless they give Link no lines, I doubt Nintendo will give anyone permission to make a Zelda movie. You know, what with their policy of not letting Link have a voice or dialog so the gamers can imagine what Link's voice sounds like.
That didn't stop Link from having a voice in the CD-i games.
Or the Zelda TV show.
And look at how bad they were.
What are you talking about? "I'm so hungry, I could eat an octorok!"
Those were the days...

And look at how bad they were.
Precisely.
Anyways, the only Zelda movie I would even remotely consider seeing would have to be a "Shenmue: The Movie"-type movie, meaning a movie composed of all of the important cutscenes from a game, along with battle scenes performed by expert players.
If you're just rehashing one of the games then what's the point?
The Legend of Link (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7573426796770713155)
A movie in which Link has no lines. Just sort of throwing this out there; it's feature-length but it's only fanmade. Either way, the movie is amazing.
Ah, yes... LoL... Great movie. Mostly riddled with humor, but it has a good dash of seriousness in there, as well. Plus, video game references (excluding Zelda games). You gotta love the references. :P
I plan on watching The Hero of Time when/if it comes out. I know it's fan-made, so I'm not having too high of expectations for it. It's like a fan fiction, in a way...
Directed by Tara Gillespie?
Not related to Dizzy Gillespie.
I hoped that the Zelda movie will be... I dunno. Maybe something like the Narnia. In some way... to have the same feeling as the games without being a game. And thge most important thing: I dont think there is going to be a good Zelda film if Nintendo doesnt participate in the project. Anyway, lets be positive. :)

Really? See, I'd hoped it would be more like ZELDA.
