Hey guys, as you all know, I used to own a site called hyrule field. This one is going to pawn over that site because I'm having someone more experinced help me build it. his name is stan, owner of hyrulecourtyard. the title of the site will be called The Twilight Princess. A site dedicated to Twilight Princess, and the rest of the zelda games. It will be updated quit a lot and will have loads of zelda content! The link will be:

Look, Jdog. There are already sites like that out there. What makes a successful site is having something unique. For TDC, that's the Compendium, HA2, Ask Ezlo, and the Caption game. You need to have something to bring to the Zelda world. Everybody here already has a forum, and they're not going to be interested in going to another forum just to talk to the same people.
Well TB, its different then all the other ones, because I actually get a password that no one will know what it is, and its unchangable, so says stan. Plus he's more experinced and is going to help me set it up better. and as for Shika, I'm going to hopefully come up with something cool for the site. you'll see, you'll all see!

What the hell is wrong with you people? Do you like not want me to be a webmaster of my own site? well I don't care what you think if this is the case. Everytime I try to make a good quality site that people like, other than you guys of course, I always end up closing it cause you guys tick me off because your always raggin on me everytime I make one. Um, the last site I've made was Hyrulefield which was back in novemember, and lasted till like the beginning of december I think. so no, i have not made 12 sites in the past 6 months. and this one isn't going to be the same fate as Hyrule field, I promise you this.

Well, because I have a more experinced webmaster helping me out here, and plus I got some good idea's on what I plan on doing with the site.

my friend magmarfire gave me an idea to put languages on it. which is what I have now decided to do! so yea, not only will my site have fan fics and walkthroughs, but it will also have languages. :D The first layout probably won't be that good, but remember how zelda capital started out? now look at it! and plus I have purchased my own link! :D

As far as I know, MagmarFire is only working on creating a Sheikah language. And Shika brings up a good point. Unique material isn't exactly unique if it can be found on more than one site.

The one I originally started out with sucked, but then I found a better version, and we're using those instead. So I'll post the link whenever it gets put up. :D

But what if he, for example, is taking lots of fanfics and putting them in a single location for others to enjoy without having to search all over the internet? That'd be contributing something, wouldn't it?
Except I do believe some sites already deal mostly, if not only, with fanfics. So really, it's a question of if he can get someone to contribute an fanfic on the level of Eloze to his site.

While they're not a carbon copy of TDC, they are essentially the same. Why join your forum to talk about the same things we have already discussed here? I believe that is the point Tacheon and Commodore are trying to get across.

Jdog, here's the thing about the future: it's not written in stone. You can say it's going to be successful, but unless you put some real effort and dedication into it, it's not going to be among the best Zelda sites out there. And given your past record with forums/sites, it doesn't look too good for you. I'm sorry if that was harsh, but there you have it.
Also, that's why I declined your offer. I'm not going to waste my time moderating a site that I think has a good chance of disappearing within a few months.

I know you're hardly listening to what I said over PMs. Why, I'm not sure.
But, put in truth, you can't trust words. You said countless times that you wouldn't have your sites go down, but was there one site that didn't go down eventually? No, there wasn't. And this was

The best thing I can recommend is, prove us wrong. If your forum turns out to be the booming success you think it will be, it would hardly make much of a difference if a couple members from this site join. In which case, if that holds true, then you can report back here and I'm sure people will apologize.

How is that what TDC does? TDC has the Compendium, completely unique. It's got HA2--also unique. It's got Ask Ezlo, and the Caption game may not be unique, but it's something to do. KP made a shooting gallery game and is working on other games.
