Title: Question about Wii
Post by: Aureliano on April 13, 2008, 05:55:31 AM
I left my Wiimote in New York during my visit.  Is it possible to access the games in my Wii without it, or is Nintendo just that sneaky that they wish me to buy another control?

I went to my cousin's once without my Wii-mote. We tried everything... You're up the creek without a paddle... or a boat... or a life jacket... or floaties... and you're headed straight for a waterfall...

sharp rocks at the bottom.
And those look like aligatiors.

Nope. Sorry. Just go to eBay and buy a used one cheap. How'd you manage to leave it in New York, though?

Someone in New York: "Sweet, free Wii remote!"

I'm guessing that means it's at the house of someone you know, or at a hotel? If it's a friend, I'm sure they'll send it to you, and if it's a hotel call them and see if they retrieved it.

If it's a hotel, I think the "Sweet, free Wii remote!" thing still applies.

Hey, you never know if someone is actually going to be nice and turn in the Wii-mote.

Yeah, the person who found it would have to have a Wii for it to be of any use anyways.

And the Wii just happens to be the most popular Next Generation system...

Doesn't mean everyone has one.

Ever heard of eBay? If someone found it, they could easily sell it and make a few bucks from it if they can't use it.

If that someone sells the Wii-mote on eBay, and you try to get a new one on eBay... you can get youre own Wii-mote.  :D
