I don't know if this had already been asked...
But whats with that guy at the entrance to Castle Town that asks you to donate to peace. Where does that money go?? Is it like a place to get rid of your rupees, or what?
I remember him, but not that much about him. Perhaps if you give him enough rupees, you get some sort of reward?
You gets a heart piece for donating lots
I always donate 50!! :D
It's 1000 rupees for the piece of heart.
Cool, thanks for clearing that up.
I dontated a whole lot though... I find it hard to believe I haven't donated 1000 already.
Perhaps you have to donate 1,000 rupees all at once to get the piece of heart?
And sorry for going off topic, but ZV, I find your avatar really disturbing to look at.
Also, after you get the heart piece, the price for repairing the bridge drops dramatically-- like, from 2000 to 500 or something ridiculous like that.

Well then don't look at it.
I'm sure there are people at school who find my face very disturbing to look at, but they HAVE THE DECENCY IN THEM TO LEAVE IT ALONE!!! >:( >:( :P

Oh! Oh! I know! I know! You have to give all of your money to him. Every single rupee and he'll give you a heart piece...the thug. >:(

How am I wrong?
You don't have to give him everything. Just a lot.
That didn't work for me, he wouldn't give me my heart piece until my wallet was empty.
It was just a coincidence, kiddo.
It's not like you have complete freedom on how many Rupees you can put in; you can only select intervals of, say, 50 or 100 or something like that. With wallets set at having limits of even hundreds (and 50 and 100 being common factors of hundreds), it wouldn't surprise me if it were a coincidence. ;)

You got ripped off. ;D
I certainly am glad you revived this topic after half a year. You completely turned it on its head and revealed a flaw in our way of thinking. The world would be a much worse place had you not posted that enlightening little tidbit there.
Seriously though. Don't do that. It's pointless.

No, really. This sort of thing is very frowned-upon. Any pointless posts after this will receive a warning unless they're in the right place for pointlessness. Three warnings and, well, you're going to have to find another forum to visit. Sorry, but those are the rules.
The rules seem to have changed an awful lot from a couple of years ago when it was Jack running the place. I spammed non stop back in the day (and I whole-heartedly realise it was a mistake)
I don't know exactly what has changed, who has gone and why and who is running it now (it could still be Jack for all I know) because I've only just come back to the desert. I need the goss so I can catch up. Plus if any rules have changed with regards to what to post, please tell me so I don't post something and get in trouble because I didn't realise :) thank you
