The carcass of a giant squid has been captured off New Zealand. (If you couldn't tell by the title) The squid carcass was taken to Te Papa, the national museum of New Zealand. The squid also has eyes measuring 10.8 inches (close to soccer ball size), making it the largest recorded eye size in history.
Were its eyes battered and bruised from some sort of boomerang-like object?
That's one way of putting it: It's all squished up.
I was expecting something else. Something funny. Maybe something useful. I now see that this isn't the case, and I have wasted my time. Bad Whocares! >:(
It was moderately interesting.
And if it makes it any more worth your time, then I should add:
I KICK SMALL CHILDREN

I suppose that's where Victor's boomerang ended up, HNS.
Shika, you just gave me a good laugh. Thanks.
...TW, are you even on HA2? If so, I demand your username.
Actually, I was talking about your edit.
I am on HA2, however. Remember? I'm just not there too often.
Ah, that's right, the edit. Forgot about that a bit. And I still don't remember your HA2 account. I know you joined the HA2 Talk Forums...
So how many giant squid have we found so far?
I kick small children? Interesting, I could've sworn that
I LOST MY IDENTITY!!!

What on earth are you talking about?
*sigh* nobody remembers JaR...
I'm trying to remember exactly what we read about the squid...We read an article last year, I believe. None of these has been seen alive, correct?
This one was caught alive, reportedly munching on a fish while caught in a fisher's net near New Zealand... I think.
That's odd, I was under the impression they lived in way deep sea...
