Title: someone please help we think there might be something wrong with our game
Post by: blue_darkling on May 31, 2008, 04:51:19 PM
hey everyone me and my friend are very stuck on the temple of darkness in level 5 the dark world, it's very strange because we have looked up multiple guides but they are wrong according to our games and have different rooms etc. it is possible this is a glitch but it's doubtful, can anyone please help us? (we're in the room south east of the room with the moving pyramid base, there is supposed to be a moving platform but in our game there isn't) :'(

I'd recommend looking up the Desert Colossus' guide.  It's never wrong.

:D

thanks, but i already said we've looked up multiple guides and, as far as i can see, the desert colossus doesn't even have a proper or at least useful guide for this game.

Then it may be a glitch. I can see if one guide was unreliable, but if multiple guide, even the almighty TDC guide wasn't a help. I'd start to question it. I know this may not be in your best interest, but have you tried starting the level over?

AHHH sorry people we found the problem, it's cause we're playing the game 2-player and there are differences between one and two player when playing in story mode. the problem was that we had looked up guides that told you how to do it one player and that's why we were so confused but we worked it out eventually (as usual in zelda the problem was staring us in the face) but thanks for your help  :)

If it makes you feel better, I can't play Mario games very well because I always solve problems the hardest way possible.

Happens to the best of us. u_u;

I know how that is. In Twilight Princess, in the Lakebed Temple, I had the Boss Key and I was looking all over for the door, but I couldn't find it. I looked in the most hidden places ever and I finally realized it was in the most obvious place: the center of the room.
Anyway, good thing the glitch case is closed.
