Title: How Zelda affects everyday life.
Post by: Keaton on June 23, 2008, 07:09:35 PM
Please, post here things that you think and/or visualize in everyday life thanks to Zelda.

For example.  Whenever someone posts something normally, with A giant 'LOL' attached to the end of it, I imagine the skinny servant of Igos du Ikana laughing when he's a severed head.  I don't know why, I just do.

So yeah.

Cutscenes from the CD-i Zelda games invade my thoughts regularly.

"I can't wait to bomb some Dodongos!"

I carved the fourth piece of the triforce into my left hand. It's the Triforce of Masculinity. And it's real, and I have it.

I am also typing this from inside a psychiatric ward.

I regularly break into people's houses and smash their ceramics in the hopes of finding jewels.

I also slaughter chickens in the hopes of provoking the Great Chicken Armogeddan!

And to keep with the tradition of this thread:

"Squadulah!  We're off!"

I play the song of healing over my dead goldfish to see if a mask will appear.

...You know, I'm being 100% honest when I say I've been wearing skirts and tights lately.

Weren't you also in some kind of play once where you played a woman? You like dressed the part and everything.

Hmm...interesting.

Yes, that's actually what I was talking about. I'm also in another play now where I play a woman. Only this time, my character actually is a woman, and not a man pretending to be a woman. Great stuff. Speaking of stuff, my cotton chesticles are enormous.

I always watch out for something that might suck me down and eat my clothes when im in the ocean. And when I'm in the pool I constantly try to generate an electrical barrier around myself.

When I'm camping, I sometimes like to go into a bush, launch myself up into the air, and drop nuts on people.

This thread is just silly now... <_<

When I see animals running in groups in the woods, I look around for a pedestal with a sword sticking out.

I take a chicken and I jump off a cliff, thinking it will somehow make me glide to safety.

...I was wrong.

In all seriousness, whenever I see a big fish or a crab down at the beach, I hear boss music. I also try and ride wolves. It never works.

P.S.

Dodongos dislike smoke.

The Zelda games have really screwed me up. Sometimes (not too often) I wear my Vaati cape from my Halloween costume to school and make my friends embarrassed to be seen with me. But I don't care. ;D
And every time I find a stick, I swish it around and pretend to be Link. Thank you, LoZ games, thank you very VERY much.

I can write decently with my left hand, but I choose to use my right. But I DO swing my plastic sword with my left hand.  ;)

Well sometimes Zelda games make me want to go post on this on forum, and make up crack pot theories about how Telma is Impa, and Occoa is Kaepora Gaepora, and waste a lot of time.

-looks up from keyboard-
Oh shi-!

Well, Zelda got me interested in Japan and that got me interested in anime (or is it the other way around?). Also, I think now, because of Zelda (and a cool video I saw on the making of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger) I wanna be a videogame designer or graphic artist when I grow up.

Er, I'm making a Wolf Link costume 'cause I'm such a geek about this game series.

Uh-huh, sure. Whatever helps you sleep at night. ....Hahaha...*snort* :P

In seriousness, much of the reason why I use Link in SSBB is because I'm a huge Zelda fanboy. :P

While I'm reading or watching TV, I insert my Zelda fanfic characters in and see what they would do and how that might affect the situation.  I never write it down and publish it, but by doing so I have been able to come up with some new stuff for my fanfics.

How Zelda effects my life....hhmm... XD

Okay, put it as this - I went to an opening evening last night at a college that I'm hopefully going to go to, to study art. Any way! The teacher showed me a picture that some one had drawn of them selves with a picture of MM in the back ground -  ;) Well.... to put it in short I kinda was nuts about it 'cause it was amazing and uumm.. well didn't stop going on about it for ages! XD lol

Plus, I tend to link things with Zelda - anything game related really, or manga related.  ;D
