Which game do you think is better? I can't decide, mass effect is pretty amazing. But Halo has been around for quite a while and I've loved it first, but now I can't decide. what do you think?
Well, i'll comprae it on a few things:
halo has multiplayer, mass effect doesn't

Mass effect has many developed characters, halo doesn't

Halo gives you the ability to pick up and use any weapon you find, a good thing in a shooter, mass effect does not

Well, what about the story line for mass effect? I think its a pretty cool story line, but the halo one is also very good.
Rabies, that's hardly fair criteria...
I'd say Mass Effect. The storyline was much greater, and the game itself was a lot more unique than Halo.
Yeah, Halo is, in my opinion, one of the most overrated games of all time. It offered nothing new to the FPS genre as far as I can tell.
Mass Effect was a unique RPG/Shooter and it did well with it.
As unique as it was, it didn't do well with it, the story at the end was way too open-ended, and the begining of the game is him trying to be a spectre, and the rest is him just saying "i'm a spectre" and people letting him do stuff. The game basically leaves you on your own, you need some hand-holding so you have a general idea of which way to go. The gameplay itself was just really hard to get used to. There was no point to the whole choose your own story element, it didn't change the story whasoever.
Grand Theft Auto IV's choices didn't affect the story at all, but they were still epic choices.
And since I know you Dr, I'm going to assume that's more of your "Putting a story into its simplest possible terms making it sound worse than it is" thing.
Actually, the choices in GTAIV did make a difference, the game is leagues easier if you kill playboy x, because you get the powerup from dwayne

Well, i don't remember the specifics, but they are chasing some renegade, and at first they can't because they don't have access to certain thing, but then when the main character becomes a spectre, that's all they talk about, is how he's a spectre and could do whatever, it's like the whale biologist in futurama
I have to say Halo because it has more than just one game in the series.
If we're judging by the amount of games, Dynasty Warriors pwns all.

I've never played Mass Effect, but I'm pretty skilled at Halo 2.
Halo one for PC, I TOTALLY OWNED.
My clan, [CU], was #16 worldwide for a whole official tournament. I was the clan leader-- but we just couldn't get any higher. We were a pistols and snipers clan that exploited glitches in the game (like the sniper's spot and the hollow rock in Blood Gulch), and the pistols/shotties/frags clans ahead of us just kept destroying us. I swear, they were botters.
