Looks like I salvaged a bit of juicy information/rumors off teh intarwebz just now. The first is regarding what is said to be a "fix" for the Wii's graphics and memory. Some people say it's a new console altogether. Here's the link. (http://n4g.com/wii/NewsCom-118145.aspx?CT=1)
The second is regarding what we've all been waiting for: the next Zelda game. Or a possible E3 trailer, that is. The graphics in the trailer look a little tacked on, but could either be (very) early on in development or fan made. I hope it's just the former. Here's the trailer. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjMBqnX9dtQ&feature=related#)
Discuss.
I hope the wii console isn't a whole new console, I could barely pay for the first wii I got. and I have been desperatly waiting on the news for the new zelda game. by the way, your first link didn't work just so you know.
All right, I think it works now.
And wait, how could you "barely" pay for the last one if you could afford a PS3, which is about, like, twice as pricey?
To be honest, I stopped reading after I saw Xbox 720.
It seems rather unreliable, as the guy doesn't even cite his sources (name of the radio show, the guy that said it), or the 'trusted source'.
Link looks long and lanky in the link.
haha, alliteration! Anyway, I hope the graphics stay like that (except Ganon XD) because it looks like a nice blend of OOT and TP. super-realistic Link bugged me (especially since Wolf Link wasn't XD) so it's a happy medium, methinks.
The Temple of Light, eh? this has certainly caught MY intrigue.
One thing though: What does the subtitle say at the end?
I'm pretty sure that the thing about the nezt wii console and the XBox 720 is a fake. Mainly becuase it's way to early to even begin thinking about any such thing, at least in terms of video game consoles. They just came out! (with the exception of the 360, but still).
Haven't watched the trailer yet, but if they mention the Temple of Light methinks its also a fake.
edit: Watched the trailer. it seems like a badly made fake to me. For one thing, why would Link and Ganondorf be fighting in that particular spot? Anf the Temple of Light was said to be a fraud before OoT came out, doesnt anybody else remember the conspiracies?
In the trailer, they are, technically, fighting in the Temple of Light. Remember what Rauru said in OoT. And it was a ruse...in OoT. Doesn't mean it has to be in this game.
And JQ, I think the title is either "Dark Times" or "The Dark King."
Faaaaaaake.
The "trailer" is from a fan movie called Dark Sage (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Hp8dQhyJRBs).
It's a pretty cool little movie, but it is in no way official.
Ahh... Glad you're on top of things, guys! It would possibly explain why the characters have more rigid movements than the more fluid movements that Nintendo is applying to its games.
I found a much better trailer here. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYnipQTEMnA&feature=related)
I'm quite sure that trailer was for the Oracle games.

I didn't pay for the ps3. My mom got it for me for my 18th b-day. Even though I asked for a car. ah well. anyways, lets get back on topic shall we?

I thought you said you
did pay for it. Or was that the 360...?
Anywho, E3 starts July 15, I think. So I think it won't be long! *expects a Zelda discussion boost and new forum board :P *
It's rather obvious that it was a fake, from the moment that I saw the trailer. No one, I repeat no one, would use text that terrible in an official (or even semi-official) trailer. And yeah, not to mention the choppiness of the graphics, the fact that they're fighting in the Chamber of Sages, and all the other factors.

But-but-but- It was too cool... :'(
Also, Holy Hell, that was an AWESOME fan-made thing.

...the fact that they're fighting in the Chamber of Sages...
I still don't understand why this meant it was probably a fake.
Because it's not a logical place to fight. The temple of Light was, indeed, in the Temple of Time. The Chamber of Sages was in the Temple of Light. However, the Golden Realm, which is logically where the Triforce would've taken Ganondorf (and Link) after claiming it, does not include the Chamber of Sages. The Temple of Light exists as a Temple in and of itself, much like the Shadow Temple or the Spirit Temple. When Ganon seized control of the Triforce, he would've had the power to reshape the world. And, as we have established in the other games, he has a penchant to hide away in massive castles and fortresses.
Why would such a climatic battle take place in the Chamber of Sages? It holds essentially no relevance other than a place to house the Holy Six. The only reason Link was teleported there after each battle was because he had to hear what the Sages needed to say next, and the only reason he appeared in the Master Sword's chamber afterward was because that was the Link between the Temple of Time and the Temple of Light.
Nowhaddimeen?
Wait...the Temple of Light isn't in the Sacred Realm?
'Cause the game (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=xqRx1KWEkgo) seems to disagree with you on that one.
Ooooooh, burn
It is in the Sacred Realm. All I'm saying is that, like the other Temples, it would remain practically unspoiled by the otherwise cataclysmic change of the world from Light to Dark via Divine Intervention. Ganondorf wouldn't be chilling there, he'd have his own castle. It just wouldn't follow basic canonical law (i.e. Ganondorf/Ganon must always have a castle or other fortress somewhere in the game).
TL;DR: NO U
Also, thanks to you,
I LOST THE GAME
That game wouldn't be, oh, Portal, would it?
Anyways, I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo ended up releasing a more graphically-capable Wii with more memory, since so many games these days are beginning to demand such.
Of course, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Nintendo didn't do such a thing, either. After all, it's not the games or the gamers they care about, it's the profit.
No. The Game (http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/the_game).
Caution: The internet article linked contains awesomeness and profane language.
But mostly awesomeness.

I disagree. These games actually show quality over quantity. Plus, to get the profit, it would have to at least give some thought to the games and gamers, wouldn't it? Otherwise, why would people want to buy that stuff? Fact is, people do buy it. Nintendo must be doing
something right.
You want someone who fits your description a
little bit more, though? Activision. *coughcoughGuitarHerocoughcough*
I say that they don't care about the gamers anymore because of their catering to the "casual gamer" audience. Most of the games Nintendo themselves put out have been good, sure, but what are all the rest? Shovelware, very poor, watered down versions of multi-platform games (Rock Band springs to mind), and games like "Wii Fit." Nintendo's mindset seems to have changed; now that they've discovered that the Wii sells so well to the "casual gamers" (just a synonym for non-gamers), they've abandoned the real gamers and begun marketing the Wii as an exercise machine and a toy.
I better stop there before I get any angrier at Nintendo...
No, TW, get angry.

What upsets me is the fact that several people think that the Wii was made to attract female gamers, as well-and honestly, I've been a gamer since I could hold the controller and comprehend what to do.
So these women folk who say they're "gamers," even though the only games they've played are Cooking Mama and Nintendogs, piss me off so much.
Yay off-topic!

And yeah, we're getting off topic. Someone make an angry Nintendo thread in the chatboard. Or do you want this topic moved? Since the riddle has been solved about the fan-video, we don't really have anything relevant to talk about here...
