I thought this was never going to come out, but I walked to into gamestop one day, and I saw a sign for soul calibar four. Darth vadar and yoda star in it, idk if link will still be in it though, but I saw them two on the cover.
Too bad I don't have a 360 or a PS3; it looks interesting.
However, I do have the original Soul Calibur for the Dreamcast, and I love it. Pure fighting bliss.
aw, you poor soul, luckly for me I got both, so I can get it for either, but I think I'll get it for the PS3, to add on to my game collection for it, I already have a lot of xbox games.
I know one thing I have that you don't, JDog!
spelling.
--and no, that isn't trying to fight you or start an argument, so please just ignore this comment except for the fact that you spelled 'Calibur' wrong.

you spelled 'Calibur' wrong.
I noticed it too...
But you know how he hates to be corrected. ::)
I noticed it, too, but I didn't draw attention to it, because I knew what he was talking about.
Anyways, have any of you played Soul Calibur? If you have a Dreamcast, I very highly recommend getting a copy of it. One of the finest Dreamcast games anywhere.
I have Soul Calibur 2 and 3 for the PS2.
This game's been on the map for months though.
But this time next month, I'll be using Darth Vader to slice and dice Nightmare.
I probably won't have the money to buy it, so i'll have to rent it
I've only played the second soul calibur...
I have Soul Calibur 2. It was pretty fun, not such a bad fighter game, good controls...
I suppose now would be a good time for me to say to all of you NEVER EVER TO GET SOUL CALIBUR LEGENDS FOR THE WII. It was the worst Soul Calibur game.
Ever.

Sad face. I was gonna buy that one.
You could buy it. That is, if you like throwing $50 down the drain.
PM me and I'll give you good reasons why to avoid getting it. I don't wanna post them ehre in the event that it is off topic and might spoil it for anyone who plans on getting it. :-*
Posting critiques about a game in a series where the topic is about the game is NEVER off topic.
Yes, please, post them here.
As a mod, I DEMAND IT.
Oh, well, in that case....
The controls were extremely buggy. Itr was hard to even move around. The camera was diseased; it was rarely focused correctly on your player.
The gameplay itself became repetitve and boring rather quickly. There was too much text. The voiceovers were really lame. There wasn't a large (or good, for that matter) selection of weaponry or characters. The 2P mode was absolutely horrible, not fun at all.
And the story was extremely lame, especially at the end. I almost cried I was so sad. Sad becuase it was so bad.... :(
very angry surprised face.
That sucks dude!
Screw that then!
Maybe I'll rent it.
Thanks MK.
Anytime.
Allow me to reinforce my point if you didnt get it allready. The story had robots in it. Robots, guys. In the middle ages. :-*
My dislike for Nintendo is growing yet again...
Oh.
My.
God.
Say it isn't so!
Soul Calibur? Really??
Wow!
SC2 was absolutely amazing!
How could they screw up such a great game??
The main villain (or whom you think is the main villain) turns out to be a robot. A fully functioning terminator-esque robot. I kid you not. If you don't believe me, you-tube it.
I didnt believe it at first either. Then my friend showed me and part of me died. :-*
Where does Legends take place in the Soul Calibur story?
Before or after Siegfried was able to break free of Soul Edge?
He weilds Soul Edge in the game. It powers up to omega form, in fact, if that helps clear anything up.
I think that's between Soul Calibur 1 and 2, where Siegfried is free from Nightmare, but is still wielding Soul Edge.
I dont particularly follow the series, so I will take you word for it.
I was bored today, so I decided to bring out my copy of Soul Caibur. I played through the Arcade mode as Kilik, and I was blown away yet again by how amazing this game is. The controls are so responsive, and the moves you can perform are so cool. The sound is so clear, and the graphics... the graphics are absolutely incredible, even today. No wonder GameSpot, IGN, and Famitsu gave this game a perfect score.
Dang! I can't play Soul Calibur 4 :'( I don't have a PS3 or an xbox 360. I have a wii, but the wii one dosen't sound fun or something I would like to spend my hard earned cash on.
