Will Smith is still funny as hell.
(Did I get a warning for saying hell? They can say hell in PG movies...)
And to everyone who thinks that funny actors like Will Smith, Jim Carrey, or anyone else, aren't funny any more, it's mainly because there trying to ACT, not just be a goof all the time.
If you spend half your career being funny, don't want to try something new?
Anyway.
Go see it.
**SPOILERS**
mod edit: Highlight to read.
I think he should have died in the end
you should make the text for your spoiler white.
and i'd rather go see HONCUCK with WOLL SMOTH
How come every review I read about that movie was a bad review???
Because there are critics out there who just like to emphasize on negative portions of movies or games just to push their own agenda, methinks.
Or there are just critics that truly did not like it. That's always a possibility.
Or they were looking for different things in a movie than you were. People have different tastes.
Oh, well thats um, understandable. But I am going to see it tomorrow just to see its actually as good as it is.
I must say the plot seemed kindof last minute, and wierd.
But It is worth seeing.
I saw it with my bro and I liked it, but me wanting to go see Wall-e in the neighboring theater probably took away from the experience. I liked it though! Just not as much as Wall-e!
Well, I finally seen it today, and it was a very good movie. I don't know why almost every critic gave it a bad review. it rocked.
Oh I wanna see Hancock, it sounds and looks like a good movie to watch.
It is

Remember, this is General Discussion. You're to put more than a few words or a phrase in your post.
We had the problem with one word wonders back in the medli era... sometimes all we got was an emoticon.
Haha, whoops.
I was just agreeing. Not much more to say.
I actually went to a movie theater. Gasp! :o
Anyway, I did enjoy Hancock as well. Much more so than I Am Legend (which, to be fair, had good acting, just a plot I didn't like until the very end).
Also, I don't keep up with what "professional" critics say.
OH MY GOD HnS IS BACK

Yea, never listen to critics in my book. they always give bad reviews to the wrong movie. I mean come on, the critic I watch gave that a horible review, and it was an awesome movie. Its in my top 5 of favorite films.
You have a good point, JDog. Personally, if I want to try something (typically a game), even if it's got poor reviews, I try it. If I like it, great! If not, oh well. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Wow, for once in my life I have a good point. Parties all night long* anyone care to join the party??? lol anyway, yea, you guys should watch it if you haven't. great movie. Not one of will smith's better movies though, but defently one of the best of the year in my book.
I watched it, finally. Er... most of it, anyway. We got to the movies late, and so we didn't see about 30 minutes of the movie (we were filled in as we got there) from the beginning.
I agree with JDog about the ending. u_u
Wait, what did I say about the ending? :o
About their fate and who should live and who should die.
For the record, I think __ and __ should've just died, but like I said in another topic, I've been quite the negative ball of energy.
Also, that nubhand guy's reaction right before he died was hilarious. I loved him. And the one guy who's name I never found out and just called James because I like Silent Hill and he has a wife named Mary. He also had a crowbar.
Are you talking about the other guy??? Hancock's friend you mean right? I cant remember his name either. lol
I'm putting a spoiler warning on THIS topic, too... <_<
Yea, that would be a good idea. :D
Sorry about that-I could probably hide the spoiler or something, but I didn't think to. I guess I immediately think that movie topics contain spoilers.
But yes, Hancock's friend will be James until I find out his real name.
lol, james. Nice one...
I thought the part where he was in prision was classic.
Im the one who said
*highlight* he should've died
