So, um...I really dont know how to say it. I think I've seen death. Literally. SEEN death. Can anyone here help me out without simply telling me to see a shrink? Seriously.
You mean, you've seen someone die?
Or you think you saw... The reaper.
Give us more detail. Where/when/how did you see him? What'd he look like? Did he say anything?
In all seriousness, who died?
Really, this is a serious matter. If I knew more about the matter, I could console you, man.
I'm really confused... Do you mean like you seen the future of someone dieing, or did you actually witness it??? :o

As in...seeing someone die in the past, present, or future?
Or seen a dead person? did he say anything? (or her)
Or seen some person in a glimps (Sp?) but then went to look that person was gone?
When/where?
and also...what was happening at the time?
Sorry, so many questions. lol
but don't freak out yet. k?
:)
Seriously what do you mean i have gone to funerals and it just takes time to get over it . Unless its way more seriouse?(your experiance)
Um, yeah, I think he means something way different from funerals. :P

You haven't said anything kindly to me in ages.
Maybe he's seeing a real shrink.
That is pretty creepy... and considering how you haven't posted back yet, I consider you try and talk to somebody before something bad happens. Talk to anybody. Maybe a friend or a family member...?

If he seeing a real shrink maybe he doesn't have time to get on.
I find that somewhat unlikely when, in his post, he considered it an option he didn't want to take.
If his mind were to change, though, then that would be another matter.
We could just stop posting and wait for him to return.
But that would make him think we don't really care.
That how i feel, at least. When people don't reply to one of my topics/posts.

Sorry, but this is general discussion, and that's spam.
You're a veteran member, and so you should know better-- especially with a wonderful example like Shadow Goris.
That's a warning.
EDIT: Actually, until Wednesday, that's your second warning. Just to keep you updated.
Well maybe I shouldn't come here anymore. :P To this board, anyway.
Anyway, MK. We talk about the topic.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN MAJORA?
MK this is keeping me on edge please can we have more information if it isn't to much.

Sorry that I have not been on to clarify. I've been away for awhile. I mean the Reaper. Or some form of him. Its hard to explain. I was just sitting on the curb near this lake when this dude started walking by. The only reason he caught my eye in the first place was his outfit. He was wearing a very old suit and had a top hat. He had no hair, that I could see at least, and carried a briefcase. Now normally I would take a look and then just look away, but two things made me keep looking.
1) His suitcase had DEATH written on it.
2) He had no face.
It was scary beyond belief. I ran back home so fast I though I broke the time barrier.
Wait... he had no face? As in, his facial features were nonexistant? No eyes, no mouth, no nose?
I would've tried talking to him instead of running away in terror.
Maybe the guy was just in a special costume.

1. I would have done the same thing JQ. The supernatural don't frighten me anymore, but rather they fascinate me to end. They're elusive enough, so as soon as my friends say they saw something, I check it out.
2. Hmmm... There's a spirit in my Grandma and Grandpa's house that used to disguise herself as my grandma. The only way we could tell the difference is that she didn't have a face IE exactly what JQ said.
It was more like his features were blurred. It's hard to explain. But its like he's stalking me. I've seen him several times near the lake, and my house.
Thats creepy! You should contact authorities and tell them to keep a watch on your house for suspicious people. This is starting to sound like a Steven King plot.
???
Haha. I think the authorities would come for me if I told them that a faceless creature was stalking me.
Well, you don't exactly have to tell them that. Simply tell them you're seeing someone suspicious around your property. Are you on any meds? I have friends and family who've seen crazy stuff being on certain meds.
No. I dont even take medicine for headaches or the flu.
I dont know what to do honestly. I've checked out paranormal websites but it's mostly people claiming they were anally probed by aliens or married Bigfoot. I guess I finally have joined the ranks of the insane.
You could talk to a priest about it.
Well, at least you have no way of proving that he's not real.
Reminiscent of Mr. King, indeed...
While it may be scary I think it best to attempt and conquer your fear. I mean sure, I woulda been scared to death to, but... face up to it.
If all else fails, throw holy water at it. :P

Quote from: MajoraKirby on July 16, 2008, 04:21:13 PMI ran back home so fast I though I broke the time barrier.
Oh man, the time barrier.
That's some serious stuff right there.
--------------------
I'd recommend getting curtains and buying a dog.
Thats... creepy. Maybe you should confront this guy next time you see him, he could just be a stalker in a costume. I know it's easier said than done but if you build up your courage you should talk to him. Maybe you should post here every hour or so just so we know your okay. Not that anything could happen to you but still, stalkers can get violent. That is to say he's not Death, which would be a major disadvantage in your case.
Thats what I do when I find something suspicious. I grab a knife, hide it under whatever I'm wearing, and confront whatever or whoever it is. Courage- my strong point. Thinking- ... eh.
You may not need weaponry. We're just assuming he's violent. What if he just has a very important message to give you?
Why not try listening first?
He could be a harmless homeless guy that happens to be a part of a death-worshiping cult.
I was talking to my friend earlier, and we got on the subject of the supernatural. I told her what you saw, and she flipped out. Apparently a friend of hers saw the EXACT SAME THING. :-[
Down to the top-hat and no face!! I can't believe it. This could be a sign... Oh and something insane happened to me just about a half hour ago, but I'll make another topic.
Creepy. Maybe I'll talk to it. I'll bring some food just in case its a homeless man.
I think talking is a good and a bad idea.
It's good because it may be nothing.
But the bad thing could be, he could kill you while right in the middle of talking.
Can you bring a camera, too? See if he appears on the screen or take a picture and see what happens?
MK! GIVE ME SOME HOLY WATER!!! NOW!!!! :P
Huh. Wonder what's in the case....
Anyway, if it's not your time, I don't think the reaper would just murder you. From what I can tell, he's an agent of God with the task of escorting souls to the next world. I'll check a few things, but in most stories I think death is pretty benign.
The Grim Reaper would be dressed much more angelic if he was an agent of God. >:(
Yeah, but this one dosen't sound like the traditional reaper. I was thinking more of the angel of death.
Who says angels don't wear old suits and carry around suitcases that say death on them. Have you seen one?
Exactly. Who knows?
The Grim Reaper would change it's appearance if he wanted to.
He might want to change his fashion sense every once in a while.
But, no, seriously.
I read this really creepy story in... I believe it was World of Darkness? It was a recounting of a seaman (lolololol) and how he and the other crewmen would see and hear the spirit of Death walking around the ship-- they described him as a wizened old man with a plantation owner-style beard and mustache in a pure white suit with a pure white suitcase. He was very kind and tactful, and couldn't understand why everyone was so frightened of him.
The entire time I was reading it, all I could think was that Death was Colonel Sanders.
......
I will NEVER eat fried chicken again. :-*

I just pooed myself.
Anyway, I went down to the lake recently and there was a funeral going on down there. Maybe I just happened to see him while he was out on business.
Or maybe he was watching over the funeral?
Thats what I mean. I saw what I believed to be Death a day or two before the funeral. So maybe he was just sticking with the recently deceased until the funeral.
Maybe, but what about the face?
Did you talk to him?
ALSO...I might make a picture of how I picture him.
I did not talk to him. And who knows why the face is like that. I'm drawing a picture too. Im going to put it up on Photobucket and post the link here.
Ok..
Did he sort of float when he walked? :P Like, glide? lol sorry questions...
oki doki! can't wait to see it :D
It was weird...it was like he was walking but he wasn't. And I wanna say he was gliding, but his feet were on the ground.
Just what I thought...I'm guessing no black mist following him around?
What would be cool is if there was a little coldness coming from him, and if he moved like, really smoothly and slowly. and if the gliding sounded like a chill breeze blowing through pine trees :P
Just the description sounds cool. And yeah, he moved smoothly, and fast, but slow at the same time.
Sweet. :P
I'm blaming you if I get scared when i go to bed lol
Oh god.. if you do talk to it, don't blame me if anything goes horribly awry.
And bring a muffin if you want to feed it. :P
Everyone likes muffins...right? Lol. I dont know if it will come back again today, now that the funeral is over and whatnot. I'll have to walk down to the lake later.
Thats pretty freaky. Cool description though! If you do see it again, don't touch him in any way!! Its common knowledge that if you touch the reaper, you die.

Faceless = creepier.
Also, where do you live, ZV? Like, what area? I could do some background research.
Cibilo, TX.
It's where my house is from, it was flooded and someone died.

Very good Fisk! :)
Yeah, Cibolo Texas, in a new subdivision called "Bentwood Ranch".
Is it true that everything is bigger in Texas? Like, do you eat pancakes the size of automobiles?
My cat was killed by a massive flea. Crushed to death, the poor dear...
And no, it's not. As a matter of fact, a lot of Hispanics and Asians live near me, so a lot of the people are quite short.
And some places are uncomfortably small/not big, like Whataburger. On the 4th of July, we had to stand to eat for a while...
Lol, that poor poor kitty.

Anxiety? Depression? Panic? Something in the water or the air?
There are oh so many explanations.
Just suddenly after a funeral?
No, I don't think so.
Funerals give a sense of closure, a sense of finality.
That might be enough to knock hallucinogenic tendencies out of someone if they were psychological.
the human mind is a funny thing-one moment, you can be fine, and the other, you can be going into a crazy fit about how messed up your life is.
especially in your early teen years, when the hormones get at you.
that said, nothing's impossible.

1) I dont even know what anxiety is
2) I've lived near this lake my entire life.
3) I dont really have an explanation for Depression. I wont say I dont get depressed on occasion.
By the way, Riku, it is possible to hallucinate the same thing over the course of several days. Trust me on this.
However, I'm not saying that this is hallucination. Bring a camera/cell phone with a camera with you wherever you go. See if he shows up on film or not.
Somehow, I doubt it would show up using any form of technology. But it's worth a shot. Go for it and post when you get results.
Like I said earlier, I have seen it since then end of the funeral.

Case in point, if I don't take my meds every day, I see and hear people that aren't there, and I also lose the cognitive ability to distinguish between which ones are real and which aren't. It was a hassle in the military, and they wouldn't let me stay for as long as I did except for the fact that I'm a total deadeye.
