Title: I NEED YOUR HELP, TDC
Post by: Keaton on July 17, 2008, 07:26:04 PM
I need all the Sprite Artists I can get.  I've decided to go crazy and make a Bioshock Sidescroller.

Any help you can provide would be excellent... remember this is an Art Deco theme.

I can help!

I've been doing a lot of pixels lately anyway, so it wouldn't change much. However, I need to finish 3 costumes fairly soon, so I can't exactly say how quickly I'll get stuff done.

hahaha, oh wow.  I'd be forever in your debt.

However, there's no particular rush.  The coding's going to take forever, and I can just make some fake sprites in the meantime.  I'll try and think of a list for all the sprites I'll need...

For Chapter 1:
The Main Character (for the life of me, I can't remember his name).
Spider Splicer (Female)
Thuggish Splicers (Male and Female)
Leadhead Splicers (Male and Female)
Nitro Splicers (Male and Female)
Big Daddy (Bouncer)
Little Sister
Background:  Outside Rapture (open sea and inside the lighthouse)
Background:  Outside the Bathysphere
Effect:  Fire (for the plane crash)
Effect:  Blood splatters (I'm going to need lots and lots of blood)
Effect:  Electro Bolt Plasmid
Weapon:  Wrench
Weapon:  .44 Special
Weapon:  Tommy Gun
And ammo boxes and other neat effects.

This is going to be majorly demanding, but it'll be oh so worth it.

It's cool, then? I've just been hoping to get this stuff done by August, since... I don't know, I take forever to get stuff done apparently. XD;

I'm... not sure how well I'll be able to do the backgrounds, but I'll try. What size do you need them to be, pixel-wise?

Um?

Crap, I never thought that far ahead.

I'll let you know in a while.
