Now I can't get this damn update bar off my pc, its said 2/25 for like the past 20 hours, I've restarted it several times, and it went off, but as soon as I got on the internet, bam, it goes away. I mean, wtf? I was just going to put the updates on it from the internet like my old computer, which I started doing, and then the damn bar pops up again, and freezes at 2/25. This lap top would be freakin fine if it would get off.

I've never had it do that to me. To be honest, as a Vista user, I've never encountered many of the problems people who use Vista supposedly get. I think they're blowing it way out of proportion, personally.
Anyways, JDog, is it updating, and it just won't do anything? If so, then the best thing to do when it's updating is just to leave it alone. You may royally screw something up if you restart it while it's updating (similar reason why many PSPs get bricked).
No, it should have nothing to with that. The internet is running just fine, everything is... I don't think it has anything to do with that...
