Title: Smashville
Post by: PokemonMaster on July 23, 2008, 07:59:03 AM
I'm creating a website called Smashville.  It will have a forum and a main website.  Both are under construction.

Here is a sneak peak at what it is going to be about.
     (The Main logo)
(http://images.picture2life.net/cachedimageservice.axd?type=edit&id=4143409&key=baee649d-2d78-4bc1-893f-86579ef8f5c1&size=original&quality=medium&mimetype=Jpeg)

I'm still creating it.  Any suggestions?  Don't hesitate, I want all the help I can get. :)

Suggestion:  Honestly, the coloring for the main logo are hideous, and in no way convey Super Smash Brothers Brawl.  Fix that.

I see... then maybe choose a less Brawl-insinuating name?

Why not title it nintenville or something like that? Ask teachon or Zelda veteran if they will make you a better banner? Or find a place that has people that can make graphics. and request them? And is it going to be an actual main site, or free webs?

I personally think ProBoards is better. There's a lot more that you can do with it.

Not really, invisionfree you can be any age, the layout is nicer, and you can actually do more things with it then proboards. But if you can't make layouts, you'd have to search for one, thats bought the only up side of proboards. or you could go to google, and type in smf for free. SMF is very good. its what I used for zelda beach, which sadly died. :(

Okay, firstly, who says you can't lie about your age? People do it all the time.

Secondly, with ProBoards, you can add codes to your forum to increase the number of features that it has. You could have a forum RPG if you wanted! Or add music! Or add a shoutbox! Can you do that with Invisionfree? I don't think so.

Thirdly, who says that layout is nicer? You CAN add pictures to your layout. You can alter images. You can alter TEXT. Trust me, from what I see, ProBoards is better.

Well if you look at most forums by them selves, a lot are used by proboards, and dude, you can add as many codes as you want with Invisionfree. have you ever even used Invisionfree?

If you recall, I've only made two forums--one being my main forum, and the other being my RPG.

And guess what? You can add as many codes as you want with ProBoards, too.
