School. It be a coming soon. What are your thoughs/fear/expectations/hopes ect. ect.
This is for those of you that still go to school.
Honestly, Im scared. I'll be a freshman, and I never did so well with school. My parents keep telling me this is the moment when I find out wheather or not I become a roofer like my pops.
I'm going to be a sophomore... I can't say I'm looking forward to going back to school. It's never that bad, and it shouldn't be this time around, but it's certainly no fun. Math is what I'm especially feeling mixed about... I loved Algebra 1, absolutely hated Geometry, and now I've got Algebra 2 coming up. If it's just like Algebra 1, I'm going to love it.

Draw I&II
Latin
Adv. Language arts
Geography
Math 1
H.O.P.E (Health Opportunities through Physical Education)
Science 1
Im only worried about Math. I suck at math.

Jeez... I've been in a summer program, so I've been mathing all summer. And I hate math more than I hate the devil. Its true >.<

I need to finish reading The Grapes of Wrath for English 3 Honours...
I'm going to be 15 and taking college courses and be a juniour. D: It's kind of scary... I'm totally not ready for it. I'm not... very well-liked around the school, either, and I'm not sure if I'd be able to make it during the lunch period if my friends and I get cast into different lunches...
I had two different lunch periods back when I was in public school, since I was taking a high-school class. It's not that bad, actually. You get to make friends with people you wouldn't get to see ordinarily.

About being an adult, or about different lunch periods?
If it's the former, I'd take it as a complement. I've made a friend on YouTube who's about the same age as me, but he thought I was ten years older until I told him otherwise.
If it's the latter, try to look at the bright side of things. Like I said, you'll get to make friends you wouldn't ordinarily get to see.
I never even understood how that concept worked. I never remember making friends, I would just suddenly have them.
That's pretty much how it works, it seems... You just find a person who might have similar interests or tastes, you're friendly to one another, and the next thing you know, you're pals.
I remember in 1st grade, this kid (who today is my best friend) said " I like being friends with people who don't have any, so will you be my friend?" I was kinda insulted, but said yes anyway (and i DID have friends, he just didn't know)
I remember in third grade, I saw this kid(who is like a brother to me today)pretend playing Zelda out on the playground. And all the other kids wanted to play, but they didn't know what Zelda was. So I went up to him, and I was like
"Lets show these losers how to play." And he was all like,
"Heck yeah." And we started playing. We even made our own Zelda adventure. It was crazy.
But unfortunately he no longer has interest in Zelda.
I remember getting rocks thrown at me as a kid. And being mistaken for a boy - much like I do on the forums I'm on.
Why the hell would they throw rocks at you?
Not very well liked, you see. Granted, it was more like pebbles than actual rocks, but... yeah.

Don't worry, being a freshman isn't that bad. Just be sure not to get on the upperclassman's nerves and you'll be fine. Actually, in high school, people aren't like they were in middle school where the 7th graders would pick on the 6th graders. (At least at my school) we all get along.
As for my fears, I fear I won't get the classes I want. I already got my schedule, but they screwed it all up. They put two 6th hours in my 1st semester: Digital Arts and Biology. And you know which one they'll make me drop? Digital Arts...the good one!...I think I need a hug. :( But hopefully, I can fit it in somewhere else...hopefully. 8)

I'm entering Junior Year, so as you can imagine, my dread is building.
I do not wanna take the SAT! And I really don't want to deal with all this obnoxious college stuff....
Well, next year I'm going to be a junior... I'm kinda nervous about it. I'll be talking a TON of hard classes AND will be going to college part time. Not only that, but I play 3 sports and do 3 other extracurricular activities... I don't know if I'll have enough time to do all that I need to do! :-*

Im taking German for my junior and senior years, and Latin for my freshman and sophomore years.
Everyone that I know who goes to my future school says that the seniors and what not have a superiority complex. And some kids call me "fresh meat". So, yeah. ::)
My child hood was... different- for lack of a better word. I won't go into large detail, but I didn't have any friends until about the 7th grade. I'll leave it at that. Freshman year was uncomfortable, but by the end of it, I had some incredible friends. Sophomore year I nearly doubled in awesome friends. I hope to repeat this and triple my junior year.
And of course you always have us, ZV <3
I joined here back in 6th or 7th grade I think. Thanks for being there guys... I love you all so much. I'm glad I stayed her when I registered. I can't think of a better website.
