So, I picked up WoW today, after being convinced by my best friend that it lives up to the hype. When I went to the store to get it, I told the guy behind the desk that I need the CD version(as opposed to the DVD version), becuase my computer doesn't have a DVD drive. So he gets the box, complaining about how the old manager had screwed up the inventory system, leaving him to fix it, when this annoying kid comes up the the counter while the employee is busy finding the game and asks loudly "Do you have a used copy of guitar hero 3?!", over and over So this goes on for the next couple of minutes, until I get the game, and I get home. At my house I open up the box, and the first thing I notice is that I got the DVD version. Sooooo, I'm gonna have to wait a few days to play until I get a DVD drive. I'm thinking about making a Gnome mage.
DO NOT PLAY IT
IF YOU PLAY IT THEY WILL COME
MOSTLY THEY COME AT NIGHT... MOSTLY
seriously though
that game will kill you
from the inside out
Wait, if you're getting a DVD drive anyway, why didn't you just get the DVD version to begin with?
If you bought a DVD drive just to play one game, that's a bit excessive...
Anywho, even though MMORPGs aren't really my thing, I hope you have fun with it. Try not to become a mindless zombie basement-dweller.
Well, I never intended to get a DVD drive, but the store doesn't allow people to return WoW unless the seal hasn't been broken. But now I can play all those DVD ROM games that I thought I'd never be able to play, like Sumpreme Commander.
Well, I guess getting a DVD drive might be worth it after all, then, especially if you use your PC for gaming.
BUY IT. I OWN THE GAME. AND IT IS HEAVEN. AND IF THEY COME, I WILL PWN THEIR FACES OFF.
