Correct. Google bought YouTube in 2006. The point is, I've been seeing tons of bulletins saying that Google is buying YouTube and is going to close it down, which brought up this topic about how 99% of YouTube bulletins are stupid.

Well, from what I've heard, YouTube isn't profitable for Google, so it's a possibility that they might close it down to save money.
The non profitable part probably stems from illegal anime uploaders.
Not that I mind them. They're my escape from English dubbing.
English dubbing makes my insides hurt.
And if YouTube closed, the internet would be... well, quite different.
There'd certainly be less Rick Rolling... But then again, Veoh and Dailymotion can host those videos, too.
Those websites, while popular, aren't as popular as YouTube. Not even close.
They could if YouTube is out of the picture for good. ;)

I used to use the worst laptop ever. Seriously. It's barely alive now, though.
Anyways, another type of YouTube bulletin I hate is the "Stream party!" or "Come to my stream!" bulletins. They just... I don't know, they irritate me.

YouTube makes no sense in a lot of ways... However, I think its usefulness outweighs its stupidity, at least for the time being, so I don't want to burn it to the ground.
I personally think YouTube will become the new MySpace... that's sort of how I'm using my channel. I think I've actually got more YouTube friends than I ever had on MySpace.

I've actually really only got three friends on YouTube (out of the ten friends I've got). One is Zelda Veteran; you all know him. Another one is dougd1015. He's a nice guy; turned 15 a week ago. One of my Irish cousins is also one of my YouTube friends. He's a nice guy, as well.
All my internet friends are over here...
Except for my YouTube friends, all of my friends are over here, as well. (Of course, as I mentioned, one of my YouTube friends is here as well, so...)
