It seems, in my banning of JDog/Axel/Master J, I made a "slight" oversight.
When I went to delete Axel, I accidentally deleted Alex, a well respected member of the site.
Right now, JQ, kamikazi, and I are working on a way to restore her account.
At least her posts will still all be here, right?
Oh, gosh... That's a boo-boo...
What are you trying to do to reverse it?
I'm in the process of talking to Jack about this.
Yar, I noticed that Alex's name showed up as a guest name.
I was all, "lol wut"
How did you get upside down letters Tach? Anyway. Thats lame. Is there any hope at all?
And why did Jdog get band? (No sympathy, just curiosity.)
He got three warnings, the last one being insulting/swearing.
It was a bit sad, seeing as he had been around for so long, but it was only a matter of time before he finally slipped up fatally.

Her posts will indeed still be here. Banning doesn't delete the posts you made while you were a member.
To Takun, Jdog had trouble managing his anger and every now and then he would get a couple of warnings before he got it under control again. It was a matter of time before he got three warnings considering he never showed much effort in keeping his anger in check.
I probably shouldn't tell you all this, but Gamefreak started a betting pool on the amount of time it would take for him to slip up that one last time.
Shika won.
In other news, HnS, her account wasn't banned-- it was deleted.
It's past midnight, I'm a bit tired, my mind isn't all together. Please forgive my boo-boo.
Eh, either way, her posts would still be there. After all, Gamefreak did delete all of JDog's accounts, yet we still see his name appear in Author's boxes for threads. Not that they're links, but they're still there.
Administrators can alter post counts. They can rebuild her... it won't show that she was the author of the posts/topics that she originally made, but she could still have the same information as before.
I'm pretty sure admins can also fudge join dates. 3:

QuoteThe first query is missing a where statement and thus will not work. Plus this requires your user to recreate their account, fill in details, etc. If you have a backup you can restore it to a temporary database. Then extract the users you delete and import them into your live site.
[/b]
But only jack would be able to do that with the database.
The thing I'm worried about is Jack not understanding how SMF is coded.

That sounds extremely complicated. I hope we can get her back...
I think it would be nice of me to mention that I have Alex's IM name in my buddy list, and I'm talking to her right now, so if anyone has anything to say to her... well, yeah...
Well, a mistake is a mistake. But try and get here back ASAP.
She's a key member, and one of my personal forum friends...
Send her my deepest apologies.
I have her AIM< so I can if nobody beat me to it all ready.
Well, if one of you could send her my apologies, that'd make me feel a bit better.
Honestly, I think this might be the worst thing I've done as administrator besides Evilbob.
Except this is moreso just a simple mix-up. With Evilbob, you were just angry. Try not to beat yourself up about it because there's always human error as a variable.
If we can't get back her information, we can always just "rebuild" her, as Tacheon suggested.
I'm sending her an IM right now... it's no big, Gamefreak, just an account.
Don't worry about it.
EDIT: She won't answer, so, I guess I'll just leave it for her to find eventually.

It's not your fault, I remember I thought LadyNintendo was 16 when she was 19. My brain must have flipped the 9 upside down. ;D
Its huge problem GameFreak. I'm sure she won't be too upset if we just "rebuild" her. We have have the technology. We can make her faster, and stronger. Well... In any case, she'll be back and posting in no time. If GameFreak ever deletes ZV though, ZV gonna put you in a box.
I told her, she knows. She seemed okay with it, though.
Guess who the first one who told her was.
She said she needs help coming up with a new username. Idea guys, ideas!
Xela. Awesome name.
Also, I'm pretty sure there are some pretty huge names on the site that are not taken.
You know, like probably Impa or Rauru or Jesus.
I'm pretty sure she can use Alex as her name again, since it's not being used.
What about raptor jesus??
Yes, this is why I can use JDog as my name.
