We all know our favorite animal in the Zelda series, the Cucco, but there's some debate as to how it's pronounced, or whether there's "one right way" to pronounce it.

The main reason why I'm asking is because there's this guy at YouTube advocating at a Four Swords Misadventures video that it's pronounced "coo-coh," while being a total jerk in the process. I've been arguing that it shouldn't matter how it is pronounced because (1) there's been no "official" pronunciation released and (2) because of "poh-tay-toh, poh-tah-toh; tah-may-toh, tah-mah-toh." However, he says that the latter is "totally different" and, thus, irrelevant. Please... ::)

What do you guys think?

That's the closest to how I pronounce it.

Coo-coo, that's how I roll.

Kuh-koo, at least, that's how I say it.

The same kinda goes for Saria: I pronounce it "Sah-Ree-Uh" while others might pronounce it "Suh-Ria" or something.

That's actually where he decided to be a jerk and say that "coo-coh" is the correct way to pronounce it. Fancy that. :P

(I actually say ceu-coa, like co-co, but with an eu. Btw, eu is uh, but nasally.)

I usually pronounce it "coo-coh," but I recognize the fact that it can be pronunced differently.

While we're at it, my friend pronounces Gerudo with a soft "g," but I use a hard "g" sound when I pronounce Gerudo.

If you don't know how to pronounce something, then try to pronounce it how it sounds looks. I voted for coo-coh.

Er... what? Sorry, but that didn't make much sense to me; "pronounce it how it sounds" is rather redundant, I think. Do you possibly mean "pronounce it how it looks?" That'd make more sense with what you're getting at.

Anyways, moving on, I've always pronounced it "cuck-oh."

I usually say coo-coo in my head but it really makes more sense to say coo-coh.  I mean, if it were pronounced coo-coo, it would likely be spelled cuccoo or cuccu.
