The Desert Colossus

Pokemon has always been my favoritest thing. I have played alot of the games, have alot, and still collect cards from time to time. (me and 4 friends counted... stopped after 900... and it's still growing.) I was wondering what kinds, and which pokemon other people like. Plz post about 10 faves, fav game, fav types, or anything else pokemanz.(if this should go somewhere else (which i think it shouldn't), mods plz move.)

i'll start.

I always liked Johto best.  It had the most diverse region and it was back before it was really daunting to "catch em all".

game: Fire Red/Leaf Green

I don't really have a favorite region, but they really ought to do a remake of Gold/Silver/Crystal.

My main Pokemon in FireRed and Diamond when I was playing through the story was Kadabra/Alakazam.  I'd use him for just about every battle, so he was usually pretty leveled up by the time I got to the Elite Four.  The rest of my team was just cannon fodder.  Once I defeated the Elite Four, I'd switch over to Scyther so I could catch Pokemon.

As for favorite types, I lean towards Psychic and Fire, but Dark, Electric, Ghost, and Dragon are up there.

Favorite Pokemon....Hmmm....Charizard.  Scyther.  The Abra evolution line.  Wailmer and Wailord is pretty awesome with their beastly HP stat.  I haven't really used Kabutops, but it's mostly because he looks similar to Scyther.

I chose Johto, pokemon is quite lovely.

I, being rich, sleep in a custom made pokemon bed.

Anyway, Pokemon rawks. Totally. I'm trying to get into EV training and get the basic gist of it.

I think the game I clocked the most time in was in Ruby--over four hundred hours, I believe. (Fortunately, Brawl is catching up quickly, as it is over three hundred hours. ;D ) It's just freaking awesome; there was quite a lot to do and more innovation.

And I'm waiting for Platinum to come out. My DS waits for it, though I hope I still have some money left after Re: Chain of Memories reaches stores... >.>

it would be cool if they released the new DSi and Platinum at the same time.i'm looking foward to the new rotom forms. :)

Dude, I'm telling you, "cool" is just a matter of opinion maturity. When people think something is dumb because its not "cool" anymore, then they have a long way to walk down the road of growing up. Same thing with "social classes". I can't stand humans >.<

I hereby secede from the Human race. I'm a Hylian. In any case, I've been playing Pokemon Stadium 2 lately, and I've thrown together an amazing team in my quest to obtain Celebi and Lugia.

Back up at VCU, I was making a list of Pokemon for my friend to get for me, and I accidentally wrote down MagmarFire for Magmar.  And I can add to that.  I accidentally named my female Magby MagmarFire.

I named my son Magmarfire.

My daughter as well.

I officially feel accomplished now. :P
