I prefer Link and Saria mainly because they seem so right for each other and they were such good friends. I would be glad to hear your opinions though.

Link and Malon.  It's the only one that really makes sense, when you think about it.

I disagree. Malon (probably) has a crush on Link, but Link barely knows her. He's known Saria for years, though.

I voted Link and Saria.

LinkxRuto I can understand being "Ewww!", but why would LinkxMalon be "Ewww!"?

Link can grow old.  Saria cannot.  That means that they cannot last, as I'm sure pedophilia is looked-down upon, even in Hyrule.

Because Malon is kinda creepy.
But yeah LinkxMalon is my second choice. Mainly cuz i'm biased because of Marin from LA.

That was only mildly hinted, not explicitly stated, if I recall correctly.

That was also TP, not OoT.

I always thought LinkXMalon was the most viable, since Zelda ditches Link, and Saria and Ruto leave at the end.

Aye, LinkxMalon seems like the most logical choice for N64.  After all, Malon grows up, Saria doesn't.  We don't want Link to be a pedophile, do we?  And Zelda's an Indian-giver who ditched him.  Ugh.

I'm all for the classic Zelink pairing. And this is why:
Not Malon because Link just doesn't seem all that interested in her. Well, to me, anyway.
Not Ruto because, let's face it, Link's just flat out disgusted by her presence.  ;D
Not Saria because Link can grow up, but Saria will always be a child. And like someone said earlier, we don't want Link to be a pedophile, do we?  ;)

Also, being the ordeals they've been through together, stuff like that usually brings people together. And sure, Link's not a prince, but in those times, usually a hero was just as worthy.

I would say that my favorite pairing is LinkxZelda, and maybe thats just because that's the cliché pair throughout the series. If I had a second choice it would probably be LinkxSaria thanks to the Ocarina of Time Manga, which I know isn't completely cannon, but it does make them seem like a better couple. I have to say, OOT is probably the only Zelda game I can think of with these many choices for pairings...
