Recently, I was cleaning my room. While going through a pile next to my TV, I was shocked to find both my Gamecube and my Zelda games there, covered in dust and everything. The discs were in the cases, and the Gamecub wasn't plugged in. I haven't been playing them for at least two months.
So, have you stopped playingyour Zelda games lately? Or has there been a period where you didn't play them?
I haven't really played a Zelda game in a while, but I like to try cheats and glitches on "Majora's Mask" occasionally. My gaming has been mostly on the Saturn and (especially) my PS3 nowadays. Online gaming has been a major factor in that.
That said, though, I still love Zelda games, and it's still my favorite series.
Gamecube was moved to my sisters' room. Hard to play it now, but I still do OoT now and then, plus the original. Once I beat those again I'll do a rerun of the others.
Recently, I've just been getting new Zelda games to play. A month ago i got OoT, yesterday I got WW, and I'm getting TP for Christmas. (I don't need anyone making a joke about getting toilet paper for christmas.)
I faintly recall playing TP earlier on in the year. Might've been summer or fall. I'm ashamed to say that I haven't completed the One-Heart Challenge yet... T.T
With Brawl, Animal Crossing: City Folk, and Re:Chain of Memories, however, it's kind of hard to. XD
I asked for a Gamecube for Christmas, so I can finally get around to playing Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.
Dude, you're even further behind than I am.
Well, since I (finally) got a PS2, I've been playing Silent Hill 2.
I also beat Paper Mario 2 (finally) and played some Windwaker not too long ago.
Phantom Hourglass is a go... been playing that on and off. Twilight Princess... uh, I've been desperately trying to beat the last level of Rollgoal. It's not even about fishing anymore. It's about not losing to that board.
I got back to Twilight Princess a little earlier in the fall.
I discovered where my Gameboy was. There wasn't any cartriges in it, even though I usually keep one of the Oracle games inside.
Last time I played TP was in November.

Now, why was it moved to your sister's room?
...because they wanted it? And it made room for the PS2 in the living room.
Just asking. I am most likely getting the Wii version of TP for Christmas, however I am not sure...
I don't even have a Wii yet. I wasn't really interested in getting one in the first place.
I've been in more of an FE 8 mood lately.
Nobody can compare Bowser to Ganondorf! Ganondorf pwns!
On the subject of not playing the Zelda games, mabye it's because there hasn't been any big news about the series lately. Nintendo should do something quick for the series' sake.
Something quickly put together usually means something that is crappily done. I rather wait a few years for a high quality game than a few months for a low quality game. There are other series out there that you can play while you wait for a new Zelda game. Nintendo knows they won't lose any fans of the Zelda series if they don't come out with a new game every year.
What I meant was that they should announce something big, HNS, like a new game.
Well, if this Christmas goes well, I'll be able to play Wind Waker and Twilight Princess on my new Gamecube.
I've actually been playing TWW a lot, lately, and have seen/heard some stuff in it (I'll post that wherever my bro says the right place is) and last night I beat the tower of the gods in about 5-10 mins, aside from the fact i watched some jay leno in the middle...
so yeah, i still play my zelda games and i still love them a lot <333 lol
I'll admit I haven't been playing Zelda as much as I used to, but I DID play TP yesterday. :)
I played TP yesterday. It was to check if the bomb-shop keeper said "Howdy-Doo-Dee!" when you walked in. He didn't.
My friend lied to me. >:(
It is pretty funny when he dumps water on you when you light your lantern in there, though. :D
I stopped playing games when the school year started, and just now am coming back to it, thanks to 2 reasons;
-I bought God of War; Chains of Olympus, Rainbow 6 Vegas, and Ghost Recon 2 for my PSP, and
-My friend got Pokemon Diamond, and on Jan. 5 we are having a mega duel thing.
Ah I've missed it so much.
:-)
Well I just got a Wii for Christmas and... TP! So I am now discovering it's fun stuff... but I don't see why people like Midna.
I got a Gamecube for Christmas, so I've got Wind Waker at my disposal at long last.
Going to look for Twilight Princess today.
Scratch that, car won't start.
You're better off ordering TP from Amazon or looking at Gamestop.
You should have just won a free copy from TDC's birthday contest like I did.
I haven't played Zelda in a good 4 months, at least. I haven't played OOT in about 2 years, due to me lending it to a friend, and he lent it to another friend. (It's a vicious cycle.) Since I got my Xbox 360, I haven't played WW or TP, in fact I've ignored my Wii almost completely except for Guitar Hero every now and again. Frankly, I've beaten TP twice and I've beaten the second quest in WW, so I don't have much motivation to pull the games off the shelf.
I stopped playing windwaker because every time I get more than halfway through it my little brothers delete the game off the memory card and I have to start all over again. So I just gave up. :'(
Why not just kick his *** and reinforce the point that he shouldn't do that? Why does he even delete the files to begin with?
Probably just because. Siblings do that, you know.
Let your parents know, and take the memory card and hide it whenever you're done playing.
*sigh* I guess I won't be playing TP for a while... (see Oopsies...)
I'm sorry fishy. I would be devastated if that happened to me! :'( :'( :'( Anyway, recently I replayed TP. I was shocked at how amazing it was! OH YEAH! I GOT THE TRIFORCE IN AC:CF!!!! IT PLAYS THE OPENING ANIMATION IN LINK TO THE PAST! My friend will be so jealous...Actually, I got him one last night but he hasn't come over yet. Anyway, I can't stop playing OoT! It's the best Zelda game to date!!! It was my first Zelda too! I used to be terrified of ReDeads!
FDL, You are not alone... :( I was afraid to become a kid for the longest time cause of those things. I agree OoT is best 3D zelda game but ALttP is FTW. My first zelda was OoA believe it or not.
My first was TWW.
