Will there be dogs in TP? I think there is but I could be wrong! I now that there are cats in TP! Animals play a special role in TP. When you're a wolf, u can communicate with animals, such as cats and other animals!
Chances are that there are going to be dogs in TP. I think The Desert Colossus has a screenshot of Link walking through town with a dog staring at him. It was one of the captions in the Caption Game.
Of course, this is the same judgement many people used when they saw a picture of Zelda holding a sword, giving them the thought that she would be a PC. However, I'd count on there being dogs in TP. :)

There is a dog in Toaru Village. There's even a bone you can throw and it'll run to get it. :P I saw it in an exclusive video at Hyrule.net.

Yes, i saw a trailer... you can carry dogs or cats, give them hugs, and call an eagle, i think you can wresell with those strange things with the horns... Miyamoto sad Link will have a special reletion with animals... he become a wolf for the love of a ********@#$%##$##$$

I just seen the video of Link carrying the dog for the first time the other day. I thought it was cool. I especially liked the fact that you could throw the bone andp lay fetch with it.

Yeah I think TP is a bit animal oriented.
What with your horse, Link turning into a wolf, talking to animals as Wolf Link (I think), your hawk, the baboons in the forest temple.
