Haw! ;D That was a good one!
Heh, vampire cactus... XD XD XD Someone should totally do a comic of that. :P
What, no ideas for real world names of Hyrulean organisms? Am I the only one who has done something like this?! :o
Hello? Anyone?
You basically said what they looked like.
Aren't most organisms named for what they look like? 8)

Um, not really. Otherwise, American robins would be called "small black and red bird."

Octopus. Octo = 8
Pus = cat
it's obviously just an eight-legged cat.
Wait, whut
Seriously though, to some extent animals are named after what they look like. Bulldogs, catfish and blue footed boobies come to mind.
The term "pus" also means "foot". 8) Octopus=eight feet.
Wallmaster: Devil's hand (you know why!)
LikeLike: Elephant leech
Morpheel: King Eel
Morpha: Queen Amoeba
Biri: Storm Jellyfish
Spike: Iron Urchin
Dexihand: Limb Eel
Cool names. But I rather think of wallmasters soley as creations of Ganon, and I think Morpheel is just a hylian loach mutated by the fused shadow. But still, nice names! :)

I would love to hear the roots for the rhinoceros.
Also, that would be one gigantic loach.
Rhino: Nose
Ceros: Horn
Simple as that.
Do wizzrobes count as creatures? Because then I would name them Phantom Hermits, IDK it just came to me, it's gotta be the late hours I'm writing
Any living thing that has been created counts as a creature. ;)
