Me and Scotty are itching to Brawl somebody. Our code is in the Wii codes thread, and we'll be adding the new guys. Post here if you wanna Brawl and we'll double check that we have you added.
You know I want to. :P
Let's see if I can get my connection up and running on my other computer, though... >_>
no
I want to but I'm too lazy to find my code. Maybe next time I play it I'll check and write it down. :)
And also can 2 people play brawl off the same wii but also fight other people on wi-fi? Like mariokart? I havent played brawl on wi-fi for a while so I'm kinda forgetting what you can do on it. ;)
You can have more than one person fight on the same Wii if you're fighting with friends. You cannot when you fight against a random person.
My Wi-fi is down, for some reason. However, the laptops seem to be doing okay...
Anyway, my codes under my sig.
Alright, Mikaudes said he's going to get on in an hour and a half or so, that's 6:00 Pacific time, here on the West Coast. I'll get on now and Brawl some of you guys while I wait though.
Sorry, I already said I'm currently unavailable. Or did you mean everyone else?
Everyone. Meanwhile, you need to fix your Wi-Fi and add me.
Where is your code again? :-\
Under my sig. Maybe I should highlight it...
My code is in the Wii code topic. You know, where it's supposed to be.
I'll put mine there and brawl too. (if you guys are ready to lose, of course.) I'll see if I can get my brother off Animal Crossing. ;)
EDIT: never mind, my little brat of a sister just came home and is going crazy saying it's her turn. Maybe in an hour I'll be on. ;)
I'm sitting and waiting. Someone get on.

YOU SNITCH! WHEN MY WI-FI GETS BACK UP, I WILL SEE IF I CAN FIGHT YOU TO AVENGE YOU!
....
....
However, that won't be for a while...maybe...
I sold my Wii, sorry.
Wasn't talking to you, but...WAIT! YOU SOLD YOUR WII?!?!?!?
DJ! HOW COULD YOU?
Got mah Wi-Fi back on. I should be ready to brawl. :D

No, the question is how could he not sell me his Wii?
Answer: If I could have afforded my own Wii, I would already have one.
Thank you for playing.
10 minutes tops. I also ought be removing Tacheon. :(

Dr. Rabies sold his, too. Can't say I blame either of them, really.
Also, "Let's Brawl boys?" Are you against the ide
As for being able to brawl, it's an unknown right now. Our TV died so the Wii got moved to my sister's room, but it's not hooked up. Even if it were, knowing the Wii, even though it's closer to the Wi-Fi box, the connection will probably get worse.
What do you mean, you can't blame either of them? The lack of competence with Wi-fi is the only setback I can think of!
Well, that, and the fact that there are very few worthwhile games out there for it.
Long story short, that's why wanted a PS3.
TW wishes to ignore the fact that there are some of us who would get a system for the two or three console-exclusive games we want.
I kinda agree with you...not completely...but the PS3 is basically an updated PS2. I never even heard of Blue ray until the PS3 was released.
I was like "what the heck is blue ray? The cross between a Sting ray and a whale? Or a blue sting ray?" Either way, I was confused.
Of course, I really want Star Wars: Force Unleashed. Lego Star wars is still fun! Right? Am I right?
I'm not ignoring that. I just don't think it's worth owning a system for just two or three good games. I'd much rather own a console where there are many games that interest me; again, one of the reasons I wanted a PS3.
You're making me out to be a fanboy, but I'm not. Being a fanboy means hating a console or consoles for no tangible reason, and I have my reasons for being bitter toward Nintendo.
Also, saying the PS3 is just an updated PS2 is quite an exaggeration. If I recall correctly, there was a much larger jump in technology from the PS2 to the PS3 than the PlayStation to the PS2, for example.
I'm kidding around with you, TW. Relax.
Mags' lag is ruining everything ;w; I'm getting on real quick while Scotty, Fishy, and Mags finish duking it out...blah.

Sorry, it just really irritates me when people make me out to be ignorant or a fanboy when I'm neither.
GUYS SCOTTY IS ACTUALLY BEATING MAGS BY A LITTLE BIT
Well, I wasn't trying to make you a fanboy...sorry...
But I guess that makes me a fanboy. I don't know why.
AND SCOTTY IS BEATING MAGS? NO FREAKING WAY!!!!
Actually, I think he was talking to me.
And I'm sorry, TW; I didn't want to make you look like a fool.
At least not like that.
He included my comment of the PS2 compared to the PS3. I think he was talking to me, too.
No, not as much to you, Havoc; I was just stating a fact there. It was a bit more towards HNS.
Either way, sorry.
Bah. Mags pulled out a win. Looks like Scotty'll win this match right here though, it's his Falco vs. Mags' Captain Falcon.
Oh, I know how that'll turn out. My bet's on Falco. PLACE YOUR BETS, RIGHT HERE! TEN DOLLARS, PLACE A BET!
Scotty won, yeah.
Now Mags is destroying me.
Using Sonic in this lag on a wide stage sucks. I died twice by running all the way from one end to the other.
Out of all, I think he is one of the most unbalanced characters. His speed makes up for his lack of power and light weight.
Hey guys, sorry for dropping out earlier, something came up and I had to go real
I thought you were just scared away by the sudden lag.
So, I didn't notice you were gone.

I think I noticed one of those times. Kinda funny (in an I-feel-sorry-for-you way). :P You'd think Nintendo would be better at designing a USB Connector so that it would be able to take more bandwidth instead of, like, 125 kb/s. >_<

Aw, heck no... Meta Knight is the most unbalanced. Sonic may be fast and have hard-to-predict moves, but from what I hear from people, his moves are often outprioritized. Meta Knight, on the other hand, has beastly range for someone his size, has excellent recovery, good match-ups, and is very adept at gimping characters. He may be weak, yes, but that's kind of the reason why I call him so cheap; because a character doesn't fly very far when struck, he can string more attacks into a combo easily without having to worry about knocking the opponent back too far. (Sorry; rant over. ;) )
Anywho, I had a lot of fun. *in Sonic voice* Hey, we should do this again sometime! *goofy grin*
Yeah, this was a blast. Actually won a few, too.
Who's 007, I was about to beat him once, and in another fight I virtually killed him
I had alot of fun too. But at 10:15, my mom was rushing me off. I cut out at 10:50. ;)
I've always heard about Mags' lag, but I didn't think it would seriously that bad. Although, I kinda liked how it made you plan ahead. Made you have to think of everything that could happen ahead of time.
But man, picking up items, aiming dragoon, aiming pk thunder... :-*
For a momeny I thought it was me, but then I fought just 007 (whoever he is) and it all went with minor distractions
I think 007 is Shika?

You'd think they'd make one that wouldn't get involved in a lawsuit that resulted in a discontinuation...I haven't been able to actually find a USB connector that was wireless here....Or maybe we could, my dad just doesn't want to get it because we "couldn't afford it". Bull.
I'm so sorry magz.
When I return I will have the picture of you and Navi/Redead jokes. Look forward to it goodbye.
Bye.
Later, dude. We'll miss ya, man. :(
So anyway, about that lag...
It sucks. I know. :-*
More affordable than Comcast, anyway.
We don't have Comcast anymore. Here, we have Dish Network. I ask people about Comcast, and I get a blank look.
So, you say you have a USB connector. Is it wireless, or does it have a wire you connect to a wall? (I know, I sound like a n00b asking all these questions. I'm just asking so I could brawl someone again.)
It's something you connect to a USB port in your computer. It uses Internet Connection Sharing to borrow your connection to connect your Wii to the Internet. Unfortunately, it doesn't take very much of it, so not a whole lot of information gets transmitted through it at one time; thus, the lag is excruciating.

OR maybe you just use Dial-up.

Or maybe you just switch to Verizon Fios and not have to deal with this :)

I use both, but when I see how much of my connection is being used, it doesn't transmit the maximum amount of data that my phone can receive from the server. Therefore, I know that it is mostly the USB Connector. Had it been powerhoused with hardware, I'm sure there'd be at least some lag, but how much of it would remain, I'm not sure.
I just know that 125 kb/s is a poor gaming speed, and believe you me, that is
not how slow my connection really is on a good day.

I don't think my area gets it. If it does, and if it were as affordable as our current ISP, we'd probably switch.
My question is this: Why are you and your family putting up with dial-up when DSL costs only negligibly more for a much faster connection?
Again, it's either not available in my area (because, after all, DSL connection speeds diminish over distance), or it really is too expensive. I think we can barely afford our current ISP as it is, so anything more is probably going over the limit.
Speaking of which, I got my Wi-fi back up. What happened was that someone else was using our wireless connection, which had no effect on the computer in the living room, but it had a drastic effect on the laptops of my mom and my sister. And apparently, it also effected my Wii. We could not go online unless the other guy was offline. So, we got our connection secured, and we got a password so only WE could access it. My Wii's wi-fi now works perfectly. And, I am now ready to accept challenges. No way I am giving away the password to ANYONE.

Preferably, it would be that you didn't know the password to begin with.
007 at first was me, then when Kris joined that was me and Scotty was 007.
I needed the password to get the internet set up on my Wii in the first place. It's not like my dad was going to do it for me...

Why? It's not like he's gonna give it away. I think he's smarter than you give him credit for.
I have our password sort-of memorized. Doesn't mean people can steal it.
I forget the important stuff as soon as I learn it. Not the school stuff, I mean the "need to know basis" stuff.
