So for those who live in their urban caves, parkour is a sort of phylosophy that revolves around the freedom and efficentcy of movement.
People who follow this phylosophy are called traceours (I think it means bullet in french), and they devote to find efficient methods to move through the urban landscape.
This takes us to me. I had been watching a lot of traceours recently so I started doing some of their moves (which got me in trouble many times at school whenever I reached the second floor through "different methods". Now my friends call me traceur, but I don't consider myself swift enough to call myself one.
Note: parkour is not free-running, think of it like this, free-running is to parkour what races are to driving.
:o
I'm so sorry, could you repeat that?!
OK, basically I can now run on walls, climb to walls roughly 9 ft high, do wall jumps, survive a two story fall by rolling and skip objects roughly the size of a small car.
Whoa. Awesome! Were you born able to do that stuff, or do you like, train yourself?
Okay sarcasm alert.
You're like Link!
Okay also I think parkour is awesome but I could never do it... and FR i think you can train yourself. A lot of people do it check out youtube.
Of course you have to train, the only thing you really need is a pair of sneakers with good cushioning and excelent grip, or will find yourself slipping when you try to do wall jumps.
Actually, my whole obsesion started after I played the demo of Mirror's Edge, excelent game, but it mades me dizzy :-X
Off topic but I want to play Mirror's edge.
Yeah there are hundreds of parkour movies on youtube
What's the difference between parkour and traceour?
traceour is someone who does parkour I think.
I forgot to tell a few things, so far I have only roll landed on the grass, I still don't dare to land on a hard surface, and I can only take three steps on a wall run, which is good, but doesn't take me as far as a jump. Now if you excuse me, I have to go eat and then grab my SUPERSPOON, whoever guesses why wins the Mikaudes award of the week!

That's right, I think parlour means "running", while traceour means "bullet", after all, they were born in France.

Dude, I envy you.
Maybe if I got in shape, I could try some of these stunts.
