I'm at the part wear you have to escort Ilia, the Zora prince, and Telma. I've gotten past the orc-on-pig thing and I've unlocked one of the two gates. I'm in the field where all those bokoblins keep shooting fire arrows and those dumb birds keep dropping bombs on my path.
I tried L targeting the enemies but for some reason, it won't work, and when I got off my horse and fought the bokoblins single-handedly more seemed to pop up. Is there something special I have to do to avoid getting knocked off the path by the bombs?

Have you tried using your arrows on the birds?
You can also use your boomerang and make the birds bomb blow up on itself and then just sword slash the mini goblins on pigs to get them out of the way
It won't let me L target, though! ???
Try aiming manually. Not sure if that would help, but then again, I don't remember if it would let me L-Target, either.
Well, finally it worked and I got past it! Yay! Must have just been something with the controller at the time or something. Thanks, guys! :)
