Now that I've got Fisk's attention, I would like to talk about the movie, Silent Hill. It was excellent, excellent, excellent, up until the climax in the church-- throughout that scene the graphics were pervasively horrible and it seemed like they aimed far more for wanton destruction than any sort of plot advancement (which I'm sure Whocares would have said about the entire movie, I love you Whocares <3). But yeah.
Good movie.

but yes, the movie is a masterpiece, if you don't take the plot of the games into it. I love the monster/scene designs, they did such a good job with them... very little of it is fixed in post, they're actual people in costumes. and the environments make me love that team forever. <3
the barbed wire tentacle rape is a bad scene all in all to begin with, though... it seems like it clashes with the rest of the movie. It's... slow moving monsters and torment and pain and anguish in everyone and then GENOCIDE OOPS
Though it's a shame Christophe isn't helping with the sequel of the movie (based on the third game), since he treated the game as the bible and tried to be as accurate as possible... now I'm afraid of what they'll do to the second movie. (my fingers are crossed for valtiel, the servant of god the sewer princess) Though I do hope they kill god in this one, god was a total bad*** in the game...
