Out of all your favorite cartoon, video game, books, and other stuff... What movies do you think they should make into a movie? I think it would be interesting if they made a live action movie of Avatar: The Last Airbender, it has a good plot and what not, but if they did make it into a movie, i would hope they don't ruin it like Fox and them have already ruined other movies.
...
As for books they should make the Artemis Fowl series into movies, i bet those would be good, because i really like the books. Another Series I really like Gatekeepers by Anthony Horowitz, I see they already ruined his first Alex Rider book Stormbreaker...

For Videogames i think it would be cool if they actually went through with the Halo Movie and made a live action movie out of it. If they don't ruin it, i bet it would be a hit :).
They should also consider making Fall Out game series a movie, I don't know about the first two games, but from what i played of the third one, it has a good story line and would probably make a great movie.

Post your opinions :)
Upton Sinclair's The Jungle, an attack on the disgusting standards of the meat-packing industry from 1906, would be difficult to make into a movie, but I hope someone would be able to do it correctly.
The Devil in the White City; it's supposedly being turned into a movie, though. I hope they make the serial killer hot.
Mm... they're also remaking Hellraiser, which is a good choice to remake (lol 80's effects) and.... I think Watership down would be awesome with a remake with higher quality animation (especially in the dying scenes, Bigwig's choking animation was very choppy, but it made it a little more terrifying.)
I think all the comics/manga/etc. I've read and taken a liking to have a movie, except for Loveless, but considering it's not even done yet... yeah.
Also, I'm pretty sure a Fallout movie would be pretty hard to make; it's a "choose your own adventure" sort of thing, like Fable is, so unless they made it like Clue (omg I would love that so much) it would probably not be as awesome as the game.
I agree about Artemis Fowl. That would be several spiff movies.
hmm. I also want to see Lirael by Garth Nix made into a movie.
I want to see Snow Crash, Cryptonomicon, and the Amber series turned into movies.
Oh, and Watchers needs to be remade, the right way.

Probably better if they adapted it to a modern context.

I have to agree, although it would be something interesting.

they have lots and lots of videos about meat industries, etc. etc. I don't like PETA, but they probably already made a video about that. Except they wouldn't call it "The Jungle" because it offends animals.

I meant the books adaptation. haha. I liked bits of the book and how things were explained.

I am a member of People Eating Tasty Animals.
I think they are making an Artemis Fowl movie.
I don't know much about it, I never read the books.
I'd like them to continue to make movies of the Georgia Nicholson books, it's utter fluff but so loveable. They made the first two books into one movie, but I NEED to see a real life version of Masimo.
I know Tomb Raider already has two movies, but I would like more, although not great movies, I thought they were really enjoyable! But I'd want it to be a separate storyline, the plots from the games are much too precious to me.
Really? that would be awesome if they did make Artemis Fowl into a movie, i loved the ones that i've read so far :)

Yeah...read this. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last_Airbender)
I've only read the first two books of Artemis Fowl, but if the rest are as good as those, then I'm all in for the movies.
Also, Metroid, anyone? In any case, it has a lower chance of being ruined than Mario or Zelda.
yes, the other books in the Artemis Fowl series are very good, i would have to say the third one was my favorite. :D
Book: Well all the books I like are already in movies XPPP
Shows: Uhm idk
and video games!!
Zelda: as long as I directed it...lol that sounds conceited ('cause I'm pretty sure I wouldn't ruin it unless Peter Jackson did it :P)
I'm still waiting for Peter Jackson to work on The Hobbit; I heard that he planned on making that movie after his remake of "King Kong."
Well there's already a Hobbit movie coming out in... 2011-12, I think.
Forgot who it's being directed by XD
The Age of Innocence has already been made into a good but overrated movie by Martin Scorsese, but I don't think it lives up to the novel, especially when compared to another Edith Wharton adaption, The House of Mirth. The film version of Vanity Fair isn't any good. Some Shakespeare adaptions also sound nice.
Definitely a Hotel Dusk novel and/or movie.
And a Disaster: Day of Crisis movie; It's perfect material for a pointless American Summer Blockbuster. ;)
But seriously, both games were extremely underrated and deserve much more popularity.
Tell me, is it true they are making a Sims movie?
If so, then I want to see a Zoo Tycoon movie as well, or even a Starcraft movie for that matter...
I would love to see The Dark Elf Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore Cinemized.
That'd be awesome if made the right way...
Unlike the other DnD movies...
In fact all of the Drzz't books should be made into movies.

agreed 100%
all of those books deserve some movie priveleges
For books:
Still Life with Woodpecker by Tom Robbins (acid trip lol)
And Good Omens by Neil Gaimen and Terry Pratchet.
Oh and I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell by Tucker Max (which would be rating of X. Lol.)
