Like I said, it's a work in progress. The division finalists are still being voted on.
Final Fantasy VII just won its round though.
It's not that I don't like Mario, but I sense favoritism here.

Yeah, the contest would be a lot more interesting if they took the sure to win games out.
In today's match, Metal Gear Solid 1 is losing narrowly to Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow.
I'd vote for R/B But if it was MGS1 vs yellow I'd go for MGS.

Give me a break, he had a lot of fantastic games. There are multiple Zelda titles up there too, you know.
And multiple "Final Fantasy" games, too.
I think that instead of including multiple games from the same series, they should hold a competition for which of the games is the best in its series and put that one game against the others.
I will be angry if "Half-Life 2" isn't on the list.
They had one of those in 2006. Legend of Zelda won.

Super Smash Brothers Melee, Kingdom Hearts
Zelda TP, MGS3
SSBB, MGS4
It's looking like Final Fantasy X is beating Kingdom Hearts and Diablo 2 by a mile in this this round.
Melee's still winning though.
Oy, seriously? I didn't think FFX was that good...Even without counting the voice acting.
My main surprise was that Metal Gear Solid lost to Pokemon Red and Blue.
I had to say the original MGS wasn't as good as original pokemon
Today's match has Twilight Princess comfortably in the lead, with Metal Gear Solid 3 and Resident Evil 4 in a statistical dead heat for second, with Metal Gear Solid ahead by about a hundred votes.
Resident Evil 4 is in second now.
Dude, KH should own any FF games besides VII, just because of VII's fanbase.
MGS set a new way of playing and experiencing vg's, staples like those can't be ignored. I'm disappointed.
And I do consider the KH series to be superior to many FF's or Zelda's.

Well, I think you need to take the demographic into account. I mean, a large majority of the voters are probably young kids.
I've updated the list for the top 8. Surprisingly enough, Metal Gear Solid 4 is winning after Brawl beat it in the last round.

Honestly world, get a new game. I can think of at least five games that surpassed OoT with flying colors.

LttP was Third. FFVII was second. FFX was fourth.
If you think OoT wasn't deserving of the award, at least be grateful that Zelda triumphed over Final Fantasy.
