Title: Big changes in my life
Post by: Uximadesk on June 11, 2009, 11:38:50 AM
Well, the following months are going to be full of new things for me.

For starters, I'm going to college, which means I'm leaving for a new city, to live inside a campus where only students will live.

A branch of my family which I have never met also lives in Monterrey (that's where the college is). However, my grandmother, my mom and her sisters have already met them, and they say they are willing to get to know me. It's a weird feeling, knowing you're going to meet a lot of people who already know tons about you...

Also, I recently had a laser operation on my eyes, so I don't have to wear glasses anymore.

Then I think I might be getting a motorcycle to move around in Monterrey, who knows?

And last, I got a new laptop, which is awesome because the other one was getting obsolete (192 MB of RAM...). This one is great, it has a giant screen and a super processor OMG I'm in love with it.

P.S. I'm also back to writing in on the summer, so I'll have to see where that takes me.

Congrats, dude, especially on the surgery. Must be nice to not have to lug around a pair of glasses. ;)

How did it go, anyway? Was it scary?

I wonder if you still look as hot.

Also Be careful if you do get a motorcycle.

It is a bit scary because you are conscious during the whole surgery, but it's not painful or anything, until one or two days later when your eyes really burn and you want to die.

Fortunately, I'm not the stunt type, so if my parents agree, I will have one.

Ouchers. I keep thinking I want glasses, to make me look more intellectual, because the first thing that comes on people's mind when they hear my voice is "retarded redneck". But I also think it would be to much of a hassle. I guess I just have to look super smart by spewing insurmountable accounts of refined vocabulary.

U SEE WAT I DID THAR

If your laptop is still in working condition, I'll take it.

Oh, and good luck in college.  And meeting your family.
